24.01.2022 Even Linda and Julee-anne's outfits and hairstyles are reminiscent of the 40's. They look beautiful! There are still a few front row seats (and a few other spots around the theatre) available for our 20th June Songbirds concert. They won't last long so get in quick. https://www.trybooking.com/events/landing?eid=770630 or call 0409 895 527 for tickets. 21.01.2022 Meet Maxine Whitbread. She is the program host of 4BH's Playhouse of the Air and is proud to present the final radio play for 1949 - A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens! She is seen here dressed in the latest of stylish officewear for ladies- a blue dress with matching red shoes and wide leather belt. She is truly a modern woman ready for the coming decade of the 1950s. If you wish to come along to witness our magnificent production, performances will be held in the Nanango ...Cultural Centre at 7:30pm on the 4th, 11th and 12th of December and 3pm (Matinee) on the 5th of December. Tickets are still at the low price of $20 adults and $15 concession and can be purchased at the Nanango Information Centre (07 4189 9446). 15.01.2022 Due to the high heat conditions that are expected this weekend, the Friday Evening (4th Dec) and Saturday Matinee (5th Dec) performances of A Christmas Carol Radio Play are being moved back to the Nanango Theatre House (cnr Elk & George Sts). The recent relaxation in Covid-19 restrictions allow us to make this move for the comfort and health of our patrons and performers. There are still tickets available for these performances, so escape the heat and enjoy some great theatre... in air-conditioned comfort! Tickets are still at the low price of $20 adults and $15 concession and can be purchased at the Nanango Information Centre (07 4189 9446). There may be some still available at the door but it is better to book! Picture description: Ebenezer Scrooge hunched over and scowling - there are sweat drops now coming from his brow. He is holding a candlestick but the candle is replaced with an old-style microphone. There is a sprig of holly attached to the candlestick as well. There is also a drawing of a thermometer showing a high heat on the left.
