25.01.2022 We had a fantastic morning at Playgroup! We had fun stomping like dinosaurs and making some Christmas craft Next Friday is our last Playgroup for the year. We look forward to seeing you there!

23.01.2022 Semester Two report cards have been emailed to parents today and hard copies are being sent home with your child this afternoon, along with award certificates. These awards will be recognised during next Monday’s Celebration Ceremony. Enjoy celebrating your child’s achievements with them! 18.01.2022 Hall of Fame is back!! Come along and celebrate these fantastic achievements in the hall at 2.40pm on Monday.

17.01.2022 Tomorrow is our modified Athletics Carnival which will run as a student only event. Students are encouraged to wear their house colours and a wide brimmed hat, and don’t forget to bring a water bottle. Tuckshop will be operating as usual tomorrow. We look forward to a fantastic day with maximum participation!

In recognition of the outstanding efforts of school staff during the COVID-19 pandemic, the last two days of the school year, Thursday 10 and Friday 11 December have been declared student free days. Our intervention groups follow either a four-lesson or eight-lesson sequence and upper school classes are immersed in novel studies to engage and challenge students. 04.01.2022 We love learning to read at Nanango State School! Our Prep to Year 2 Students participate in Reading Blocks four times a week. We work in small groups with a strong focus on decoding, comprehension, reading fluency and phonics.

02.01.2022 Our Year 5 campers yesterday spent the day on the beach exploring, enjoying some sand tobogganing & competing in the traditional King & Queen of the mountain race! Everyone is safe, well and having a fantastic time

02.01.2022 Our Year 3 students are enjoying their very first school camp at the Bunya Mountains this week. The campsite is set up and Group 1 have arrived safely. Some very keen students even completed an 8km walk with Mr Heidrich! Happy camping!!
