22.01.2022 Testing setting up a facebook page (you all know how techno-jinxed I am!). Tell me if it looks OK?
14.01.2022 We all have a story to tell, but it takes courage to expose ourselves by sharing it especially if we fear we’ve made poor choices. This memoir spans two countries, six decades, five marriages and countless obstacles. Its purpose is to inspire others to embrace and share aloud the colourful, creative, convoluted richness of their own stories. When the author’s precious jewellery went missing she was determined to find it. She scoured through countless pawnshops, trawled ebay..., searched under every rock, and even turned to a bikie gang for help. Her lost jewellery was nowhere to be found. What she discovered instead was that for a long time she hadn’t liked herself and had feared life. She lived her days tense with anger and anxiety, only feeling safe when she was learning and working. She had adopted effective, but destructive, ways to deal with emotional pain namely, to forget the past. When her past demanded to be recovered, there was no way out but to face each personal demon, reconsider its meaning, and eventually make peace with her experiences. What she lost was material, what she gained was spiritual contentment, gratitude and a thirst for living. Written in a spirit of love, openness and compassion, Lost & Found is the story of a painful process that became a liberating experience; a story of letting old fears go, and opening the floodgates to joy and happiness.
