25.01.2022 It was tough to select the best party disaster (worst? were not sure with that one)... "I was 15 when I volunteered to make my sisters birthday cake. I spilt red dye all over my kitchen staining everything in sight, however, the kicker was my little sister had leaned over the bowl to watch the mixer and leaned a little too far and got her hair caught in the beaters. I stopped the machine as fast I could but not without her ending up with a giant bald spot. She had to tie her hair up in a side pony to cover it up on her birthday and I was never allowed in the kitchen again." No pain, no gain, so we reckon its a winner!

15.01.2022 Hows that for a hot mother-in-law it seems! Congrats to Helen J. from Queensland who wins $500 of Nandos catering thanks to this sizzling tale. "It was my mother-in-laws wedding anniversary. The main event was a flaming Bombe Alaska. I poured the warmed brany over the cake and lit it. I used too much brandy. It exploded into flames in the middle of the table. Instinctively I blew on it with all my might. A sheet of burning brandy washed across to a horrified mother-in-law.... What could I say? "Happy Anniversary Mum." Have a great weekend, everyone!
