05.01.2022 EXPLOSION AT THE SHOP I was not going to post this.. but I thought I should. Today we experienced an explosive event in the shop whereby one of our heaters exploded ... To tell you it was not pleasant and after just contemplating what we needed to do we were shocked because after many years as an aquarium keeper we have never seen anything like this happen. I am a strong believer that having quality products is just part of the answer. But it is also important that we need to put safety features in the products that companies sell. With that I am going to start phasing in #aquael heaters in Q1 2021 as I have not had any issues with there products. I also believe this is just poor workmanship or just a faulty heater that we have had running for a few years. I do hope it sets a reminder to my fellow hobbyist to check your heaters regularly and replace them with quality heaters.

03.01.2022 Do you know that #corydoras #hastatus are the only corys that will school? Its also one of 3 of the nano corys around and one of the hardest to find in Australia. It looks like this lot are near adults so it will be best to go in one school.
