15.01.2022 Watched High Ground today, amazing & brilliant!!! Loved hearing the birds in the soundtrack at the beginning, they took me home and definitely put me on country. The movie depicts the violent truth of colonisation of Northern Australia in the early 20th century, the thrust being our untold resistance movement. Stunning cinematography and landscape spoken in Yolngu Matha.

12.01.2022 It’s the dry season and the bugs, insects and ants keep getting stuck in the paint jars and on the painting. Looks like I’m not the only one attracted to the canvas at this time. We are all enjoying the warm colours of October.

10.01.2022 It’s been nice having the kids back home, out bush on country over the Christmas holidays. It was sad to see them leave yesterday to head back down south, but at the same time I am proud of them and I feel rewarded because they are all pursuing their own career paths... so I look forward to the future and cannot wait to see you all again soon. X

10.01.2022 In conversation with Jonathan Green from ABC Blueprint. If you haven’t heard already, you can have a listen here. Thank you to Lisa from ABC Radio National, Jonathan from ABC Blueprint and Katrina from BAG for the opportunity to amplify ‘Piinpi. Piinpi is a constant cycle, cycle of nature and people, it’s a interrelationship between people and our environment, and I think it’s beautiful and it fits with the concept.
