17.01.2022 Happy Saturday everyone. I hope you are all managing well? This social isolation definitely has some upsides but there can also be some downsides which will be different for everyone. Spotted this lovely story in my feed today. Thanks Maureen! So often I hear from Mums that they have been told there is no nutrition in breastmilk after 6months (sometimes 12 months). Babies' needs start to change but breastmilk does not lose it's value - ever!... In fact as time goes on and as babies wean the immunological factors in breastmilk start to increase again, giving your baby that last shot of protection as they wean from the breast - whenever that may be.

12.01.2022 During a pandemic, it is super important to keep mothers and babies together and continue #breastfeeding. This is because your body will make antibodies to viruses that you are exposed to. So if your baby is only exposed to the same viruses as you, then they are protected via your breastmilk.
