25.01.2022 Our little town has made it to the national Instagram page!

25.01.2022 Merry Christmas from parkrun. Hope everyone has had a lovely day. We will be starting at 8am tomorrow as usual. See you then! If anyone wanted to volunteer as a marshal, we would be very grateful.

25.01.2022 Woohoo. Nov 21st. See you at the lake.

25.01.2022 Unfortunately due to the recent announcement from the SA Government, the reopening of parkrun in South Australia due this Saturday 21 November will now be delayed by a minimum of two weeks. Please keep an eye across social media and your local event pages for further updates.

25.01.2022 New to parkrun? Nervous about joining in? Don’t be. Everyone is welcome at parkrun. We have a first-timers briefing and you can run, walk, jog, volunteer or spectate. It’s up to you. Register now... https://www.parkrun.com.au/register/

24.01.2022 Last week we released our COVID-19 Framework outlining how parkrun events will return We are now releasing our FAQs http://parkrun.me/e0tpn... You can also listen to our Chief Operating Officer Tom Williams answering your questions http://parkrun.me/8qza5 #loveparkrun

24.01.2022 parkrun encourages all participants, volunteers and spectators to scan our unique QR code to check in each week, as per government COVID safe guidelines. There is a copy here, on our website, and multiple copies will be available at the event. You can check in at home, in your car, or at the event. It can be done prior to or after the event too. This will assist in maintaining social distancing. This code is seperate to your parkrun barcode, which is required if you would like your parkrun time recorded. See you Saturday, ready to start at 8am. https://checkin.covid-19.sa.gov.au/

24.01.2022 Beautiful start to Boxing Day at parkrun this morning.

24.01.2022 At parkrun we're big fans of volunteering There are so many different roles to get involved with and anyone can volunteer at parkrun. From Run Directing to Token Sorter, we're all working together. #IVD2020 #loveparkrun #lovevolunteering

23.01.2022 Who's got their barcodes ready for parkrun tomorrow morning? No barcode no time. It's going to be hot tomorrow. You can cool off in the free swimming lake after your 5km walk/jog/run. See you there ready to start at 8am.

23.01.2022 After feedback from parkrun tourists, we have updated our course description. This will hopefully make it easier for any newbies to follow. While we have be closed, the council have installed a drinking fountain. It includes a pop up drinking bowl for dogs too.

23.01.2022 The South East sunshine brought out 38 people to our Boxing Day parkrun this week. Lots of tourists, some returning tourists, with a few first timer locals too. 19 were first timers and 3 recorded new Personal Bests. Huge thank you to our volunteers. The Layton family from Westfoldians all helped out, including Grandpa Ellis who was roped in at the last minute to hand out finish tokens until his grandson Matthew finished running and took over. Dad John was on hand as timekee...per to oversee operations. The Layton's then stayed on to help sort and clean the tokens. These little acts help us pack up more quickly. Kaye Beauchamp was kept busy at the T junction as course marshal keeping the first timers on the correct path. Verna Gallagher and her collie Jess had everything under control at the finish line scanning finish tokens. Fiona Dinham made use of the parkrun frame, taking photos of our tourists and locals, so people remember our little town's parkrun. Angela Willsmore and her kelpie Betsy volunteered for the first time this morning as tail walker. (Betsy literally with her tail last across the finish line!) It was wonderful to see so many families out walking, jogging or running together. Not forgetting our furry family members either out with their humans. There were people today who had not run for over a year, others that took minutes of their PB, and others that walked 5km for the first time. Well done to everyone. Today's full results and a complete event history can be found on the Naracoorte Lake parkrun Results Page. https://www.parkrun.com.au/naracoor/results/weeklyresults/ Have a fantastic week everyone. We hope to see you back next Saturday to start the New Year, if not at our parkrun, then at one of the many others which are open.

23.01.2022 How was your #parkrunday? Did you get a PB? Visit a new event? First-timer?... Volunteer? Share your pics and stories with us
