25.01.2022 If you are coming to the working bee tomorrow can you please bring a rake/shovel or wheel burrow. Don't forget it starts at 8am. If you can just put in an hour or so that would be great. We are getting the grounds ready for our first round of games next weekend. Don't forget to bring your hat, sunscreen and water. There will be tables there to sign in so we are covid safe.

19.01.2022 Groundskeeping extraordinaire Cooper Thompson has just been down at the fields marking out the new dimensions for diamond 1 which will look almost unrecognizable after the working bee tomorrow Reminder if you can come down and help out for any amount of time it is greatly appreciated and these fields are used by everyone. We have a number of items on the list so bring your shovels wheelbarrows and any other miscellaneous tools. See you from 8am!

19.01.2022 As you are aware our Little Leaguers played in the Gold Coast Classic today in the LL minors . . Well they won. Nadine, Terry and Chris put a lot of work into these kids. Then you had parents bringing them to training and down to the coast sitting in the hot, humid conditions. The kids did themselves and the club proud. They never gave up. If these kids are the future of the club it is looking bright. Well done boys.

18.01.2022 **Congratulations** A massive Congratulations to Senior and Senior Leaguer Ollie Vinton on his selection in the Baseball Queensland U18 Pitcher Development program. Having only started playing baseball 3 years ago, the 6 foot 3 left hander has shown a lot of potential thus deserving selection in the program.... Congrats Ollie!

You can score a live game with somebody there to coach you through and no pressure. 17.01.2022 Well, what else can we say but THANKYOU! It’s impossible to say an individual thankyou to everyone as we ended up having over 40 people there at one stage. We will however give a massive thankyou to Cooper Thompson and Will Crotty for their work rebuilding the main mound. Overall we repaired the backnet, filled in the gaps in the batting cages, edged al of the infield and topped with new deco, as well as moving 4 pallets of Clay Bricks. Ready for the season

16.01.2022 It’s a big weekend for the club. Tomorrow we have an all dayer with 4 games on the main diamond. LL league green and Div 1 LL starting out the day at 8am. LL blue are at Pine Hills at 8am also. A double header for our Junior League boys. Senior league play in between their games. Our ladies are over at West’s playing in their semi finals at 3.30. If anybody can help in the canteen at any stage that would be great. It’s going to be a hot one so everybody remember their water bottles and sunscreen.

14.01.2022 We really are a club for all ages and abilities! We had quite a few players away for our Demons Vs Demons Teeball Game at Redcliffe tonight. In fact we had three against three so how awesome it was for some of the parents, a Rookie Baller and a Little Leaguer to help out and make up numbers so we could enjoy a full game. 12.01.2022 Big shoutout to this guy for everything he does for the club. Cheyne Murphy is our Ladies head coach as well as assistant for our Senior D3/4 squad. This morning Cheyne was on his regular 4am run and decided on his way back he would start taking tarps of the field. ... He has been a sensational addition to the D3 team playing in the outfield and today when we had an injury at catcher for Division 4 he stepped in to catch for the first time in 16 years. It was an absolute masterclass behind the plate as if he had been catching for years. The Murphy family in general around the club have Mandi as Baseball Ops, scorer and Women’s player. Corey plays Senior League and Dvision 4 while Ryan plays Senior League and can’t wait for his chance at Seniors. We are super lucky to have the Murphy family around the club and many others like them.

11.01.2022 Thank you to all those people who helped out over the weekend to get our first round done and dusted. Our club has a great group of volunteers - from our coaches, scorers, grounds people right through to the parents/carers that get the kids to the games.

09.01.2022 Today Div 6 played at Darra. It was hot and uncomfortable but our guys took the win - their first for the season. Andrew Moore joined the team approx 4 weeks ago. When he signed up he said he can play short stop or pitch. When asked if he wanted to give catcher a go he said sure. Today he caught the whole game to Michael and killed it. Then when he came up to swing the bat he got a single, double and a tripple which he got home on with the wild throw at home. Welcome to the club Andrew.

08.01.2022 When you come to our games we have a game announcer (when he can be there). Here is the face to go with the voice. Toby plays in our Div 4 team on Sundays and Senior League on Saturday. He had a blinder today. A single and a 2 bagger with 4 RBIs. Then he finished the game of on the mound. Good job Tobes.

07.01.2022 It was a big day today with 5 home games.. Junior league played a double header. LL div 1, LL div 2, Junior league then Senior league then Junior league again. It takes a lot of volunteers to keep things going. Thank you to Bill and Stu for getting the fields ready before the JL and SL games. Donna, Karina, Kayla, Chris and TC in the canteen. All the umpires and scorers as well. It was hot and sticky and sometimes trying but you all hung in there until the end. If we have left anybody out I am sorry but remember you are greatly appreciated.
