18.01.2022 Today we commenced the painting of our Aboriginal mural on the front of the library. When finished, it will tell the story of the different animals that live along the Nepean River. Today our Kindergarten and Stage 1 Indigenous students had a chance to paint the background.
17.01.2022 Absences and Late Arrivals Narellan Public School has a new system in place to communicate with parents/carers for absences and late arrivals. You will receive an SMS if your child is marked absent. You may reply to the SMS or phone the office to explain your child's absence. Your message is then recorded directly into our roll marking system. This will help to minimise the yellow and green absence letters sent home. If you don't reply to the SMS or contact the school to notify of the absence, an absence reminder letter will be sent home.

05.01.2022 Due to circumstances out of our control COVID has unfortunately implemented many changes, one being the way we celebrate birthdays at school. We are not allowed to share cupcakes or cakes that are made at home. We are allowed to share individually wrapped items commercial packaged for example, share bags of Freddo Frogs, ice-blocks or individually wrapped commercially produced goods. We do understand this is not ideal but for the time being it is the only option to ensure the wellbeing of our community. If you do wish to celebrate your childs birthday please contact the class teacher to discuss the most appropriate option.
