21.01.2022 Day 1 and we already have had 5 big bags gifted by the wonderful owners, staff, and customers of The Lodge Cafe in The Gap! 19.01.2022 A lot of work goes in behind the scenes to make Animal Rescue's work. Many of the Australian Animal Rescues do not make a profit. With all money from fundraising and adoption fees often going straight back into saving the next animal or assisting with animals that require special needs, whether that is through vets or special diets. Rescue Groups rely on the kindness of the wider community to keep going (at the best of times). Now, these wonderful groups are facing harder tim...es with less access to resources, supplies and higher than normal expenses. Please keep these groups in mind when you are looking to support your community. Whether you support the ethical rescue groups by adopting, fostering or donating. 13.01.2022 PLEASE BE KIND Everyone in Australia is struggling in many ways right now! We all have to take time and be mindful that we do not know what each person is going through. Rescue's have been reporting an increase in abuse this past week. These groups are volunteers, usually individuals working with the best intentions in Animal Rescue, which is an extremely stressful industry at the best of times. Please be aware when dealing with rescues, that there is a human being on t...he other end of the chat, email, phone, etc. They individually are likely going through hardships as much as you may be. PLEASE BE KIND, this is an awful time for everyone. These volunteers and rescue groups do not deserve the negativity and abuse that is, unfortunately, falling onto them more than usual at this time. #keeprescuegoing

09.01.2022 National Animal Rescue Foundation have teamed up to help Greys4Pets Inc raise much-needed funds for a very special girl named Storm! This 10-month-old has been through many of the issues we see rescue animals face in Australia, unfortunately, she has seen many of them in one life. From being from a breeder to a puppy store to being handed around on Gumtree, during which, the entire time suffering from a birth defect causing constant pain.... Now Storm is in the safe hands of Greys4Pets Inc who, with the help of specialists will manage her medications and organise her to have the surgery she needs.
