Multiple nominations are encouraged, and people can be nominated in more than one category should they meet the criteria. Those who have been nominated in past years are eligible to be nominated for this year’s awards program. The Citizen of the Year award is to recognise notable service to Narrandera Shire over several years. This may include actions of compassion, generosity, voluntary service and bravery. The Young Citizen of the Year award is to recognise notable service to Narrandera Shire during the preceding year, for those aged 16-24 years. 15.01.2022 The Murrumbidgee River weaves its way from east to west in our region, through river red gum forests and alongside farmland, and it's one of the best spots to e...xplore. Some of the best ways to experience the tranquillity for yourself are heading out on the water in a boat or kayak, or just grabbing the camera to capture the brilliant blue sky reflected on its glasslike surface like Instagrammer @schmidty_travels did near Narrandera. Don't forget to share your own great shots with us either here on Facebook, or with #MurrumbidgeeTrails on Instagram, for the chance to be featured!
