24.01.2022 N.G.C OPENING HOURS OVER THE CHRISTMAS- NEW YEARS BREAK Business House Golf will be as normal Saturday 26th December (Boxing Day) the club will be open for 2 hours only (12pm - 2pm). So if anyone is wishing to have a social hit on Boxing Day then you will be able to get some refreshments from the club during those hours!... The scheduled NSW Veterans Mens Sand Green Championships and associated events to been held at the Narromine Golf Club on 12th and 13th September, has now been cancelled due to instructions from NSW Health and Golf NSW as a result of the Covid 19 Epidemic. Entries for the event were to have closed on 1st September and those who have already nominated will have their nomination fees refunded. Thank you

12.01.2022 Saturday Golf 5 teams braved the cold conditions on Saturday in a 3 Person Irish Stableford. Winners of the day with 74 points and picking up a meat tray for their efforts were the team of A. Sambrook, S. Squires & M. Gainsford. ... NTP 9th - J. Richardson NTP 10th - T. Harding Long Drive 1st - B. Cape (made 7 just quietly after nearly driving the green) 17th came out for Saturday Stableford Par 3 Jackpot but two players had 3 points (M. Smith/A. Sambrook). Jackpot carries over now as you must win outright for the stableford par 3 jackpot. Saturday Jackpot is over $200 now! Sunday With Trangie Open on and the keen golfers heading over there in the cold, no competitions was run at Narromine. 14 players made the trip to Trangie on Sunday with success as well with Tony Harding (72) beating Tony Mann (72) on a count back to win the 2020 Trangie Open. More success for Narromine Golf Club in division one as Mitch Smith (74 net) beat Matt Gainsford on another count back to win division one net. Congrats to the winners and Thank you to everyone for travelling over and supporting the Trangie Golf Club A top effort by Trangie Golf Club, the course and greens were in superb conditions, the food marvellous and we were welcomed warmly! Hope to be back again next year too Word has it, Trangie Golf Club is hosting a golf day on Saturday 19th September which is sure be something you shouldn’t miss out on as it’ll be another great day for all ! 09.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who joined us for our annual Golf Charity Day, it was great to see the community come together! We are happy to announce that we raise...d $4,200 which we proudly matched dollar for dollar and has been donated to foster carers Boy George and Jody Forrester to have a brand new kitchen installed in their foster home. Jody who has been fostering kids for 20 years says that this means so much to them as their home will now be completed. We hope to see everyone back for next year's annual Charity Golf Day. Together we can achieve more Watch this space for updates on the kitchen make-over!

03.01.2022 Saturday 29th August We have the Keno Two Person Ambrose on with 3 teams possibly making it through to the Regional Final in Dubbo (male/male, male/female & female/female teams). Only people with a financial golflink number and register to Narromine Golf Club can enter the Keno Two Person Ambrose on Saturday. A few rules to qualify for the Keno Two Person Ambrose are:... 1. The Pair must have a minimum combined daily handicap of 8 (eg. if one player’s daily hanidcap is 4 and the second players daily handicap is 2 they cannot play together because combined that is only 6) 2. Each player in the pair must have no more than 20 strokes difference in their daily handicap. (eg. If the lowest marker’s daily handicap is 5, their partner must play off no more than a daily handicap of 25). If a pairs daily handicaps are more than 20 strokes different, the higher marker will be limited to a daily handicap 20 strokes above the lower marker’s daily 3. The pair’s PLAYING handicap on the day will be of their combined daily handicap. 4. Each player must use at least 6 tee shots during a round. 5. Tee shots used MUST be indicated on the scorecard. 6. Entry Fee: $5.00 per pair N.A.R.A.S will be sponsoring the day as well so there’ll sure to be some good prizes ! BBQ will run throughout the afternoon cooked by Sambo, can cook a good BBQ too! Be sure to come out for a game, you can still play the Two person Ambrose on the day without entering the Keno Two Person Ambrose. Be only 6 drives each & not the normal 9 drives each for Saturday only. Normal competition fees, members $15 and Visitors $20. Hopefully the weather warms up for Saturday Happy Golfing
