24.01.2022 New to Narture! Low cost acupuncture clinic running 9.30-12.30 Mondays at Wise Wellness Centre. I know there are a lot of people struggling financially at the moment and Health Care can be out of some peoples reach. Times like this are usually when you need the most support. To make acupuncture accessible to more people I am starting a low cost acupuncture clinic, consults will be charged at $35, hopefully this will enable people to come regularly and gain the full ben...efit of acupuncture. The low cost clinic will be run in a group setting which can facilitate faster healing due to the group energy. A group room also means you to come with family or friends too. Acupuncture is wonderful and may help reduce pain, gain energy, soothe stress and anxiety, help with digestion I am a fully qualified TCM Acupuncturist registered with AHPRA. I have provider numbers for most private health companies so if you are covered for acupuncture you may be able to claim which will reduce your out of pocket expense even further. 21.01.2022 Cherries are in abundance at this time of year and it is probably a good thing! Not only do they taste great but cherries are reknown for their ability to aid gout, this is due to their high level of anthocyanidins. Anthocyanidins are anti-inflammatory and able to reduce uric acid levels. So if you are going to be drinking a bit more than you usually do might be a good idea to stock up on Cherries too !!

Example: Have a sore back go to your Allied health professional- Physio, Chiro, Acupuncture. Also we will be needed once people have recovered from Covid-19 for rehabilitation. It is important to stay at home to stop the spread of the virus but it is extremely important to maintain good health at this time too. ... There are a few changes in place:- Due to the not more than 2 people per 4m ruling it means that only you are allowed in the consult room. Please be assured that increased infection control is in place to keep you and myself safe. Same rules apply to visiting your Allied Health Professional as everywhere else -Do not go if you have a fever, have returned from overseas recently, have been in contact with someone tested positive to Covid-19, have a cough or show any other symptoms of being unwell. This time of the year you will find my hands and kitchen equipment stained yellow as I love cooking with Tumeric. I suppose I could put gloves on but where would be the fun in that . The medicinal properties of Tumeric come from the compound Curcumin. Curcumin is becoming highly regarded for its anti inflammatory properties. Curcumin can also be used for pain relief, blood clots, depression, insulin resistance, cancer and obesity - it really is a super food. Above all the medicinal properties IT TASTES GREAT!!! 07.01.2022 How cool is this! Going through my daughters HASS homework with her today. She is researching Otzi the 5300 year old mummy that was found frozen in a glacier. He has a type of tattoo on some joints, ribs (that were previously fractured) and lower back. It is now believed that these were for therapeutic reasons as the lines relate to acupuncture meridians used today. I thought the fact that acupuncture has been used in Asia for over 2000 years was impressive, over 5000 years is amazing.
