24.01.2022 Hello wonderful people. I have been so blessed over the past 18 months. Retiring With Joy and Retiring With Joy TV have lead to me meeting amazing people. I've learned so much about life after 65 in this blessed country. I have had insight into the pro's and con's of our retirement system and culture. I have been inspired by women and men who are innovators....following the beat of their own drum. I look at my generation.... Gen X... and I realised that the future for us after 65 is changing....the lay of the land is uncertain....and no one is talking about it.... It's time to shake things up....and CREATE NOW for beyond 65. More announcements on the way... so excited with what is to come.

22.01.2022 Excited to be introducing Jane Holmes, founder of Support The Girls Australia. This month we are supporting this fantastic charity that started right here on the Gold Coast in March 2016. Life transitions can happen at any time and unexpectedly. Jane will share her transitions and the support she is now providing to other women in difficult times.

22.01.2022 Good morning lovely people. Welcome to July....we are officially half way through the year. This month on Retiring With Joy TV we are continuing to discuss life transitions. Some of them are positive, but sometimes they can be difficult. For this reason we are supporting a charity this month called Support The Girls Australia. Along with Navarna Hair Excellence we are coming together to support women who are marginalised and need support with the very basics. Tomorrow I am interviewing the founder Jane Holmes with the inspirational story behind the charity. We will be letting you know how you can get involved and also Support The Girls Australia.

The ride of the life transition, can feel like more than enough.....the uncertainty, along with the excitement. And then the curve ball.... and we can wonder...MMMMMM???? This is when your resilience and tenacity come to the party....and you start the I will not be beaten dance. The dance of life.....one of the most meaningful dances of all. When we undergo transformation there is a space that is required and is essential to our personal growth.... That space can be filled with so much emotion. Fear, confusion, impatience, dread, grief, sadness, anxiety......... However, there is also excitement, courage, thrill, joy, gratitude and evolution of your-self where you step into a stronger and brighter you....one filled with a new sense of self and purpose. 10.01.2022 There are some wonderful aged care facilities and some that are not so great....Many of them are on very tight budgets and it affects their care in different ways. I am sure that this topic is not covered in the Royal Commission. Considering food is medicine....maybe it should be.
