23.01.2022 Great picture of one of our D6T Dozers taken at the fire in Yanchep. What do our dozer do at fires?? Their job is to clear a track around the perimeter of the fire which allows fire crews access and we also push any large trees that are burning over so they dont fall on anyone. It gets extremely hot sometimes and can be dangerous which is why we always have DPAW fire trucks in attendance plus air support when things get out of control.

19.01.2022 It’s that time of the year when Nash Bros starts our contract with Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions supplying D6 Caterpillar Bulldozers 24 hours a day 7 Days a week. This is our 18th consecutive year assisting DBCA with frontline fire fighting. This is a timely reminder for everyone to be Bushfire Ready.

14.01.2022 We recently added an Isuzu Hiab to the Nash Bros fleet for our field service mechanics. This truck gives our boys a great advantage when on the job in remote locations. Fitted with a crane, extra fuel tank and custom built toolboxes. Thanks to Westoz Engineering for the custom toolboxes and Signs Ahead for the great sticker job!

07.01.2022 I like to thank all the Machine Operators,DFES, DPAW, Main Roads, Police and all the volunteers behind the scenes that have been tirelessly fighting the fires down at Norseman. It a bit hard to work out where one fire starts and another begins but the fire has been burning around Norseman, Higginsville, Widgiemooltha and the Eyre Highway. Ive missed many towns and Service Stations I know but you have all been working over Christmas and New Year and you continue to work to keep people safe and roads open. Thanks to you all and great job. You may be in remote locations but we havent forgotten you or all the hard work you been doing for weeks. Stay safe.
