09.01.2022 Discover the wonder and beauty of the Kaurna Park Wetlands. Covering 48 hectares, a great way to explore the area is by walking the Tapa Wardlipari Trail, a win...ding path with a series of boardwalks leading across a number of channels through a growing array of native flora and past a variety of birds and wildlife. 08.01.2022 The side of a busy highway is a far cry from the classroom, but the unusual setting didn’t affect the creative flow of talented Year 10 art students at Thomas M...ore College. About 17 students took to seven stobie poles along Salisbury Highway this week to paint them with bright and colourful, unique designs in Council’s Poles apART program. Find out more about the program here: www.salisbury.sa.gov.au/polesapart

05.01.2022 Our resource recovery partner, NAWMA, has recently purchased one of Adelaide's only expanded polystyrene recycling machines, so they can turn polystyrene into a... form that can be used to make items such as photo frames and coat hangers. Residents can drop-off clean, white, rigid packaging foam for free, seven days a week at their Edinburgh North Resource Recovery Centre. Polystyrene cannot be recycled through the yellow-lid kerbside recycling bin. Any polystyrene in this bin will be sent to landfill and may also contaminate other recycling streams such as paper and glass when it breaks into small pieces in the collection truck. If you can't recycle your polystyrene at the Edinburgh North Resource Recovery Centre, please dispose of it in the red-lid general waste bin.
