Limited capacity, physically distanced bikes and extra cleaning measures on top of our already high standards are the new normal (is anyone else over that phrase yet? ) but one thing has remained the same, whether there are 13 people in the class or 30, our members bring their A Game There’s nothing quite like an in-club experience, feeding off the energy of those around you to give you that extra push. Thank you to our loyal members for continuing to show up Your body will thank you too, once it’s done cursing me for that last round of sprints @ Virgin Active Australia

22.01.2022 One week ago I was presented with this award and I’m still stoked @virginactiveaustralia is without a doubt one of the most supportive and inspiring companies I’ve worked for (is it really work when you love it this much?). My colleagues constantly inspire me to continue learning and growing (as an instructor & a human!) Our incredible members push me to find new and exciting ways to challenge them in their workouts and they always bring the energy Management take the time to encourage and guide you on your journey and let you know when you’re on the right path Think it’s safe to say, I love my job

14.01.2022 Day 9 - Performer/Artist Challenge . . . Sydney Royal Easter Show, 2019 I’ve been working in children’s entertainment for the past decade and one of the highlights has been performing at the Easter Show over the past couple of years. I was booked to perform again this year but sadly, that wasn’t to be. I, like so many others in the Arts & Entertainment industry (and so many other industries for that matter), lost work due to COVID-19. I don’t know when, or if I’ll ever, perform on that stage again but if it was my last time, I’m so glad I got to share the experience with Elmo & Cookie

11.01.2022 Day 8 - Performer/Artist Challenge . . . First Dance Concert, Age: 5 yrs old Ok, so I know this challenge has taken me waaaaay longer than 10 days to complete but I like to keep my word, so I’m going to pick up where I left off all those weeks ago and finish what I started Here I am, ready for my very first dance concert, crimped hair and all! Not sure what happened to my fringe...might have been the time I got one of those round brushes stuck in it because I was tr...ying to ‘curl’ my hair. The brush didn’t survive and neither did my fringe, obviously Anyway, this was the start of my love affair with dance and with the stage. At that young age I didn’t realise I could make a living from it, I just knew it was something that I wanted to do for as long as I possibly could and I am forever grateful to have a family that supported that dream of mine See more

03.01.2022 My happy place I recently returned to class after waaaaaay too much time away. Been spending so much time instructing others that I had been neglecting myself. I’ve been reminding my members in class this week that it’s important to make time for the things that bring you joy, so it’s about time I took my own advice. Man it feels good to dance again! I have no idea what I’m doing half the time and my technique leaves a lot to be desired but that’s what class is for, to learn and grow and feel joy. I’m posting this here to keep myself accountable and to remind me that it’s important to take time for myself too! From Student to Teacher My performance career has come full circle as I now have students of my own @choolala_sydney Don’t get me wrong, I will never stop learning, in fact I’m learning from our Choos all the time! One of the most rewarding moments for me as an instructor has been watching our women conquer their fears, embrace their inner showgirls and take to the stage. Something changes in the women after their first performance, it’s like a light has been switched on inside them and it’s just magical to watch. I look forward to the day when I can once again perform alongside my Choos
