20.01.2022 Fun Fact! Did you know in Australia every year theres 1.3 million ceiling fans installed every year? I regularly get clients ask whats the difference between a $120 fan and a $$250-$400 fan. Theres a few key differences that make a huge impact on how well a ceiling fan works. ... 1- In home warranty - This means if the fan fails, breaks down or the light stops working the manufactures electrician will fix or replace it free of charge for a period of 2-3 years. With cheap fans although they have return warranty youll need an electrician to disconnect and reconnect a new fan (generally at around $150-$200 cost) 2- quieter motors 3- far higher airflow 4- brighter, energy efficient dimmable Led globes 5- better quality remotes 6- faster install times (cheaper labour costs) 7- Far more aesthetically pleasing 8- polycarbon blades that dont deteriorate or sag from the sun 9- better connection and mounts so less risk of them wobbling and becoming noisy over time. I supply and install 2 grades of ceiling fans including remote, led light and labour using quality brands that I can recommend after using dozens of different brands. Theres some instances where the price may change but feel free to call or msg me on 0431 867 378 for a personalised quote. Nate

15.01.2022 Out with the old and in with the new, however the best thing about an updated switchboard is no more rewiring the fuses in the middle of the night.

15.01.2022 Check out the fire hazard in the pic below on the left from todays job! This showcases the dangers of an old switchboard, let me explain.... Old switchboards rely on plug in fuses and circuit breakers which often dont make good contact for the power to run through. ... This can create a hot join where because the contact between the metal isnt great it essentially gets hot and burns/melts. The beauty of new safety switches is they not only protect your family from being electrocuted by turning the power off in 0.3 seconds if theres a fault in the circuit theyre also all hardwired to stop loose/hot joins from occurring. Upgrading your switchboard generally costs between $1000-$1500 and is a must to protect your home from house fires and electric shock hazards within your home. Pm me with a pic of your switchboard for a personalised quote.

10.01.2022 Hey everyone! Heres a few cost effective ways of cooling your house this weekend whilst Sydney is about to be smashed with some more extreme weather. Turning the thermostat on the air conditioning to 23- 26 degrees.... Shifting the operation of pool pumps to after 8pm. Using fans to circulate cool air within homes. Switching off unused electrical appliances. For everyone's safety, NSW Health advises people to: Stay well hydrated and avoid drinking alcohol and hot or sugary drinks. Close windows and use curtains or blinds to keep the sun out. If you are without air conditioning, spend time in an air-conditioned place for example shopping centres, libraries or the cinemas. Stay safe, and if you have any issues, we will be around to lend a hand.

03.01.2022 This question could save your life and the life of your loved ones. How old are the smoke detectors in my house? To many times I ask this question to my clients and they have no idea how old they are. If you don't know please check the age of them because the unit part that detects smoke only lasts for 10 years. I'm finding to many smoke detectors have past there expiry date and it's important you get them changed in case of an emergency. Please like and share and if you ha...ve any questions or want a quote don't hesitate to call or message me. #smokedetectorssavelives #10yrslifespan See more
