25.01.2022 Electrillon. Tomorrow, Friday 30th October, at 12:30pm. Featuring world premiere performances of fifteen original works for carillon and electronic accompanimenta rare and virtually limitless acoustic combination! For the first time ever, music played on the bells at the National Carillon will be augmented by sound effects from real-time audio signal processing and pre-composed soundtracks, broadcast and performed live in perfect synchrony.... Each piece was composed specifically for this concert by students and staff at the Australian National University School of Music. Enjoy something a little different tomorrow on Aspen Island! This FREE event is the result of generous support from the National Capital Authority and the ANU School of Music.
