23.01.2022 Football Australia, the national governing body for football in Australia, is currently seeking a workforce of casual participation officers for the role of Participation Officer Community Programs, starting in July and based nation-wide.

22.01.2022 This week Two of our U14’s Australian First Nations players that were originally picked to represent Australia from last years National Indigenous Football Championships held in South Nowra for the 4th Year running 2019. Then we’re given the honour of representing their communities, their families, their elders but most importantly themselves in the Clash of the Cultures Trans Tasman Football Series against New Zealand which took place in New Zealand. Keyala Brown & Mat...t Flanagan had the honour & privilege of experiencing a chance of a life time & then to make their experience and achieved accomplishment even more recognised they then took part in a secret zoom session with the legendary Kyah Simons from the Westfields Matilda’s throughout this week whilst Kyah was over seas with football Commitments. Kyah took part in her personal time to be apart of this experience & the respect, effort & time that Kyah gave to these indigenous kids was an experience beyond itself. Much appreciation Kyah for your dedicated time & efforts in making kids dreams for the future come true but most importantly give them the belief that you can achieve anything when you put your mind to anything & never give up. This was an amazing opportunity for all of the Indigenous kids that took part of this fantastic opportunity of being included & given the privilege of such an honourable experience with such an elite athlete such as Kyah Simons.

10.01.2022 Hope everyone are coping ok with COVID-19 and following governments advise as we go through these difficult times. With this in mind and all of the social distancing measures that are in place at the moment. NIFC Committee have decided to cancel this year’s 5th National Indigenous Football Championships Tournament in Nowra (29-31) October 2020. Although restrictions have been easing across NSW their are a lot of concerns of a second or third wave of the virus which would impa...ct on players & community attending the tournament, with particular concerns held for our Elders, children and crowd restrictions on outdoor gatherings which would make things even more difficult to manage. Team nominations for 2021 will open in early December, 2020. Take care and stay safe everyone.

09.01.2022 We already have 52 teams that have have registered for this years NIFC. This is by far one of the biggest tournaments to be held by us with over 1,300 athletes competing for the National Championships. Nominations to register for 2021 will remain open until 31/5/21.
