21.01.2022 I had the cutest little helper today. Thank you to everyone who placed Mother’s Day orders. There are some very lucky Mums out there. I am very thankful for having my Mum. Not only did she lend a hand with flowers today, she looked after Lincoln for the day and he loved it. ... A little bird told me that Lincoln (Lincoln’s Dad) has organised a lovely bunch of flowers for me. I am the luckiest Mum.

14.01.2022 ANNOUNCEMENT Native by Nature has undergone some restructuring. Due to demand and supply in a small country town, we will be discontinuing our fresh flower range temporarily. We will continue to bring you beautiful dried arrangements. But for now, the fresh flowers will be taking a backseat to the dried beauties. 07.01.2022 I decided I would change it up from the usual flower post. Firstly, I would like to say a big hello to the new followers. And a big thank you to the long time followers. I really appreciate you sticking with me whilst I take a step back. For those of you who are new here, my name is Codee. I am soon to be a first time Mum in August (provided baby arrives on time). Sadly, this has meant that I have had to take a step back from flowers. I am really excited to get stuck bac...k into flowers once baby arrives. So please be patient with me as I can’t wait to bring you some lovely creations when I’m back in the swing of things. Here are few things that you may not know about me. I love to cook/bake, but sadly I am not the most gifted cook. Hence the photo of my not so pretty melting moment biscuits. My Mum on the other hand is the most amazing cook. I know all children say this about their Mum, but my Mum really is the most talented cook. My Mum also loves to work with flowers and quite often will lend a hand with flowers. I am an obsessed dog Mum. My little man Archer often features in my photos as I just can’t get enough of him. I really hope I look at my baby the way I look at him. Although, perhaps not the look I give him when he treks mud paw prints through the house. I absolutely love children. I originally wanted to become a school teacher when I left school. This obviously was not the path for me as here I am playing with flowers happy as ever. I have been a junior basketball coach for several years now. Children truly do light up my life like I never expected. (Thank goodness, as I’m about to have a little human of my own). Well, if you made it this far, thank you for reading along. I can’t wait to introduce the newest Native by Nature member to you all in August. Let’s hope they arrive with flowers in hand.

05.01.2022 I am very sad to announce that Native by Nature will no longer be able to supply Pampas Grass. New law enforcements have been introduced where it is illegal to sell this product. If caught selling this product it can result in a very large fine. Pampas Grass will now be discontinued. Let’s all just take a moment to shed a tear.

Sadly during this chaotic time I have had a wedding order that could not be cancelled, yet the poor bride and groom to be have had to postpone their wedding. 04.01.2022 Personally, I cannot wait for all the chaos to clear and we’re back in the midst of wedding season. I absolutely loved putting together this custom wedding design. Most of you would know that natives are my sweet spot. However, I will make exceptions for whatever the bride and groom desires, even if it means stepping out of my comfort zone. 03.01.2022 Hands up if you’re excited about Mother’s Day For those who missed my story the other week. My partner and I are about to become first time parents in August. And I for one can’t wait for Mother’s Day next year. I think I may start leaving hints around for what I would like for my first Mother’s Day. Baby will be too young to get it, but do you think Dad will pick up on it?
