23.01.2022 Essential oils are part of my daily routine. As you know I love them. I have used essential oils to replace many products in my bathroom. My favourite way to use my oils to support me and add to the feeling of a wellness is to add a drop of two to my unscented moisturiser morning and night. I tend to use Frankinscense the most. However, you can mix it up. Try a drop or two of Balance or Lavender at night time to calm the body and mind or Wild Orange or Douglas Fir in the morning. This ritual helps me focus on the day and allows me the space to set my intentions. 22.01.2022 Happy New Year!! Welcome to 2017. yeah!! I did a huge clean up around the house today so I am ready for this year to begin!! Have you got some thoughts on how you want your 2017 to play out? I personally love a new year, working towards new goals and building on achievements from the year before. Letting go of the things that didn't quite work out and continuing to learn. The last 18 months has been a huge growth period for me and I have learnt to let go 'a lot'; get out of ...my head; follow my heart and push through perceived fear or failure. I will spend the next couple of days writing down how I see this year playing out (with set goals included) for me and the family and then hubby and I will sit down later in the week to see if we are on the same page and tweak any timeframes etc. I love this process, and this year I have a big whiteboard to capture it on. (Lets be honest hubby would sometimes prefer to be chilling out, watching some TV, but we both get so much out of this planning time it is worth the couple of hours over a few evenings!) I started a Gratitude Jar on New Years Eve. This is my personal 2017 challenge. Writing one note of gratitude everyday and placing in my jar. Sounds easy? mmm I tend to be someone who starts a diary and it has 10 entries in it for the entire year. I am excited, I have a nice jar and coloured paper all cut in squares, the jar has pride of place in my office, and the kids liked putting the paper in the jar last night. My 7 year old daughter read it and asked what it means to be greatful; this was a lovely conversation to have with her. I know for me this year I will continue to simplify; I will listen to my heart, head and belly intelligence; I will continue to enjoy everything that is right at my fingertips; cherish my family and friends; and collect memories. I am very greatful that Natural Sense continues to grow and I look forward to building on the Heart of Life coaching service. I hope you have great start to 2017. Remember 'be you' because no one else can!

15.01.2022 **Choc Orange Happy Balls** Lunch box or afternoon treats (Gluten and Dairy Free) Ingredients:... 125 g Almond meal 225g Medjool Dates a pinch of salt 2 Tbls Cacao 3-4 drops Wild Orange 100% Essential Oil (I always choose to use doTERRA. NB: not all essential oils are pure and not all should be consumed. 3-4 drops is all you need) Optional: half tsp of vanilla paste Desiccated coconut for rolling. Place all ingredients in a high speed blender. I use a Thermomix. Blend on high for about 20-30 seconds until you get a dough like consistency that can easily be rolled into balls. Roll balls and cover with coconut. So simple! These Choc Orange Happy Balls will make your day! Other flavours you can try include Spearmint or Peppermint doTERRA Essential Oil.
