14.01.2022 Hi, My name is Christina and my business is NatureSafe Distributors in Perth www.naturesafe.com.au. We are an Australian distributor of the premium ECOtanka stainless steel drink bottles and am passionate about our environment. 2 years ago NatureSafe sponsored part of an ocean plastics trawl for 5gyres.org and all 50+ water samples contained plastics. 5gyres researchers said that our world's oceans are full of plastic confetti which marine and bird life are mistaking for food.... Plastic water bottles and single use plastic items need to be greatly reduced. Another reason I promote the ECOtankas is because plastic water bottles can contain harmful chemicals and dioxin which can lead to breast cancer. Mums cancer specialist told us that people are doing the right thing by drinking lots of water, but sadly out of toxic harmful plastic bottles. 09.01.2022 If only everyone would use a reusable ECOtanka stainless steel drink bottle, it would cut down the plastic pollution accumulating in our oceans considerably. Please reduce using single use plastics as a lot of these unwittingly end up in our oceans and can take up to 1000 years to biodegrade. Our marine life are ingesting these bits of plastic, mistaking them for food and ultimately leading to their death.
