22.01.2022 You might feel anxious when you don't know what to expect from a session with me. I understand, cos I've been there too! When we are provided with as much information as possible it helps to reduce that anxiety, support our nervous system and produce better outcomes. So to put it simply: I'm not a quack who will take you off your medications, tell you stop seeing your doctor, only treat with the same protocol I gave the last person and t...ell you what to do. I'll work with you and your GP, using only evidence based practice. I won't give you anything that will interact with what you might already be doing. I will treat you as the whole individual that you are so you can be the best, healthiest version of you. 20.01.2022 Find yourself feeling hangry? Maybe a little dizzy and anxious? You could have low blood sugar. I posted earlier in the week about how cinnamon can help with blood sugar regulation, so here is a few other things you can try. Having stable blood sugar levels throughout the day is important to health. Here are 5 easy ways to do so. 1 Adding a teaspoon of cinnamon to your meals will help with blood sugar regulation - smoothies, over oats -... easy peasy. 2 Instead of consuming refined grains that are absorbed quickly, opt for wholegrains. They have more fibre and are absorbed more slowly giving you lasting energy. (brown rice vs white rice etc) 3 Chromium foods such as seaweed, salmon, spinach and almonds help improve the insulin signal and response helping keep your blood sugar stable. 4 Eat your meals regularly, and don't skip them! When you skip a meal your blood sugar plummets and in comes all those nasty symptoms. Try eat small, regular meals to keep things in line. 5 Have a source of protein with every meal - this gives a more steady output of glucose from the liver. My favourite source of protein is eggs! 20.01.2022 Let’s not become complacent when it comes to our health. Always advocate for yourself. Don’t settle. Be informed, do proper research. ... Remember your worth. - I write this as a reminder to myself for becoming complacent on the simplest thing as reading food labels. Something I would always do. Only to tonight realise a food product that may have been exacerbating some skin stuff with my little one, I never had read its label. A quick cross check of the ingredients list with my e-additives app and I expect after cutting this food out, we will see improvements in his skin. Do you know how to read food labels? 18.01.2022 This recipe is so damn good if I do say so myself. I went searching for a dairy free honey mustard chicken recipe and nothing had what I wanted so I, of course, created it with exactly what I wanted and boyyyyy did it not disappoint! Honey Mustard Chicken 1/2 onion sliced... 1 tbsp Olive oil 8 mushrooms cut in 8s 4 garlic cloves 2 tbsp wholegrain mustard 2 tbsp Dijon mustard 1/4 cup honey 200ml coconut cream 500g Chicken, diced 1. Warm olive oil in frypan and add onion, stir fry for a few minutes 2. Add in chicken and start to brown, then add the mushrooms 3. As chicken starts to cook through add in the garlic, wholegrain mustard and Dijon mustard 4. Allow to simmer for a few minutes then add in the honey and turn heat down to simmer further 5. Add in the coconut cream and continue to simmer, allowing the sauce to thicken Serve this tasty chicken dish with rice and a side of your favourite veggies!

17.01.2022 Don’t hate on your body if you were a little unkind to it this month. I know you were just doing what you could to keep your head above water. It’s been a hard month, hell it’s been a hard year. You wouldn’t say those things to your friend that you’re saying to yourself right now. Cut yourself some slack. Do what you need to do, but love yourself anyway.

12.01.2022 Did you know that Naturopaths can find a lot of helpful info inside your eye? I like to use something called the rule of 3. For example you might tell me that you’re up through the night to urinate several times and have a family history of diabetes. I take a look at your iris and see the colour orange which correlates to the pancreas which helps control our blood sugar. This can help confirm symptoms for me and see what needs further exploring. 10.01.2022 ‘Change is one of the only certainties of life’. Change being the only constant came to me in my meditation this morning. Then I drew this card with the same message. Above all else, we can rely on the fact that things change. I struggle with change but am taking this message and releasing control. What I can control is me, my thoughts and my actions. 06.01.2022 Hands up if you feel guilty for simply resting? The recent new moon in Taurus brought in some serious rest vibes, which I actually struggled with. Normally I can really lean into when my body, mind and soul need a rest but this week I just had so much guild come up that I SHOULD be doing ‘something’. Well bye to that vibe! Rest should not feel bad. This is a conversation I have with many of mama clients who feel so much guilt when they put their feet up. Let me tel...l you those first at least 5 years, you’re going to spend a lot of time on the couch, the floor and in bed. Take advantage of this time you have now. Listen to your soul yearning for rest. Play on the floor. Watch hours of Bluey. Snuggle in bed. Take it easy. Go with the flow. I promise that it will be ok.

How you want to show up in the world. Watch the magick unfold when you do this, release and let go. Things are happening fast, if you let it.
