25.01.2022 PROFESSIONAL BELLY DANCE COSTUMES FOR SALE!! **ALL ARE NOW SOLD** I need to fund a well deserved holiday coming up so I’ve decided to sell some of my iconic costumes. I’ve worn these costumes for some amazing shows in the past and they all retain the energy and glamour of those fond dance memories. I’m ready to give these beloved costumes a second life with another dancer....at BARGAIN PRICES! All 5 costumes are only $150 each (most were originally many hundreds of dollars) Most would fit a size 10-12 (or some could fit a small 14). All the bras have been fitted for a size 12B but can easily be altered to fit slightly up or down that sizing. Message me with your interest and extra measurements

It's my birthday tomorrow (August 10th) and I decided that instead of crying about the fact that I'll be stuck in Stage 4 restrictions here in Melbourne I'd do something fun that I can share with others. Being a huge fan of the beautiful, playful and sensual Egyptian Baladi I created a little choreography in this style that I've recorded in a 30 minute instructional video. After many frustrating days of looking and lots of applications and help from friends we are ecstatic over our successful adoption of the gorgeous Bellatrix from the RSPCA. A huge, heartfelt thank you to everyone who offered help and suggestions during our search. We are absolutely kitten smitten! 14.01.2022 Announcing some EXCITING changes! Next Term (early August) we will be holding many classes in a brand new studio in BLACKBURN NORTH! This will include Tribal Fusion classes on Thursdays and Belly Dance classes on Fridays. The Monday Malvern studio classes will continue and we’ll be including Advanced Belly Dance to that night. 05.01.2022 Hey Beautiful Dancers! Just a quick update on when the studio is expected to reopen. I know many of you have been asking so I thought I’d write a quick post. At this stage we don’t have a definite date. On November the 1st we hope to have more definitive news from the government. After November 1st I may be able to resume PRIVATE LESSONS in Mitcham which will be awesome and there is talk of allowing classes to go ahead outside in a public area. This, of course, creates interesting challenges but I’m open to ideas from everyone. So, in the meantime I send you all much love and blessings and continue to hope we can at least have one term of in-studio classes before the end of the year! - Melusina

The four main elements of earth, water, air and fire have always had a strong association with Egyptian dance and music. In this four week intensive we will explore different elements and how they relate to different instruments and styles in Middle Eastern music and dance. Students will gain knowledge in identifying indivi...dual musical instruments and how the sounds emitted naturally elicit particular movements in a dancer’s body. Each class will encourage musical appreciation and identification and free form improvisation exploring sound, style and feel.
