20.01.2022 It's almost April! Yes, there's lots to commemorate in April - not to mention school holidays again - but for us it's also #WigWarriors month. Just what does that mean?... We're inviting everyone who goes to the hairdresser or barber throughout the month of April to think about those who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment and donate to help us establish a Wig Library at Northern Beaches Hospital. Want to know what a donation buys? Check it out here. https://www.nbccc.org.au/wigwarriors

18.01.2022 The Wig Library is taking shape. Official opening on Monday. Thanks to all those who have helped: Dee Why RSL, Astra Zeneca, many individual donors, Hedge Hair Co. and more. It may be established, but will continue to maintain the Library with wigs and accessories into the future.

12.01.2022 Jonathan from Hedge Hair Co. at Balgowlah Heights with a message of encouragement for our #WigWarriors campaign in support of a Wig Library at Northern Beaches Hospital. Please donate today.

11.01.2022 Our inaugural #WigWarriors is over, and we want to thank all who have contributed to making a Wig Library happen at NB Hospital. Here is the Library taking shape. Next thing? Wigs, brushes, combs, shampoo & conditioner. If you have a wig in very good condition which you would like to donate, please email us at [email protected] (please do not message us through FB as we won't see them).

11.01.2022 A short video to celebrate the opening of the Wig Library at Northern Beaches Hospital. Thanks again to all our partners and individual donors who helped make this happen.

10.01.2022 A wonderful day today. We were part of the opening of the WIG LIBRARY at Northern Beaches Hospital for which we have been fundraising - and will continue to fundraise to help people living with cancer. Thanks to Deewhy RSL Club, Cancer Council NSW for their support and congratulations to the doctors and nurses and other professional caregivers at NBH for advocating for this important facility and amenity to help people living with cancer on the Northern Beaches. Check out our photo album for some more wonderful photos from the morning.

08.01.2022 April is #WigWarrior month, and we're inviting you to be a #WigWarrior by donating to our campaign to help build a Wig Library in the Oncology Unit of Northern Beaches Hospital. Next time you're at the hairdresser or barber - or even if you're not - and you're feeling terrific about your hair, we ask you to think about those who are faced with hair loss due to medical treatment - but to think in practical terms by helping to build a Wig Library in the Oncology Unit of Northe...rn Beaches Hospital. Just scan the QR Code below, make a donation of your choice, and become a #WigWarrior. Donate as often as you like throughout the month of April so we can get that Wig Library established, stocked and operable for the benefit of people living with cancer on the Northern Beaches.

07.01.2022 Onwards and upwards! We are delighted to let everyone know that the Wig Library at Northern Beaches Hospital will be open from next Monday. The big work is done, but it doesn't mean the task is over though, as the Wig Library will require maintenance and there are many other ways in which we can support people living with cancer and the team in the Oncology Unit at NBH. THANK YOU TO ALL.... Pictures and words next week! :)

07.01.2022 One of our Board members, Clare Ward (who is living with cancer) putting the finishing touches to a painting she is giving to decorate the Wig Library which opens next month. Very exciting!
