22.01.2022 To our Valued Members and Guests, Over the last two hours we have had several people cancel their bookings for tonight due to the fact they had people in their groups that had visited the NORTHERN BEACHES. For your honesty and care for others in doing so we thankyou!... I would at this time like to advise that - In order for NBC Sports Club to maintain a Covid Safe Venue and in accordance with NSW Health we ask that IF YOU LIVE IN OR HAVE VISITED THE NORTHERN BEACHES IN THE LAST 7 DAYS (SPIT BRIDGE TO PALM BEACH) WE ARE VERY SORRY BUT YOU WILL BE DENIED ENTRY. As you can appreciate we have a Duty of Care to our Staff, Members and Guests to provide the most Covid Safe Venue we can. 20.01.2022 Hi folks A quick update on a few of our upcoming relaunches 1. Raffles - The aim is to have our first Friday raffle on Friday July 17th so not this Friday but next. More information will follow soon... 2. Kids Backyard - We are working on a Covid Safe plan for this area and again hope to have more information to you by the end of the week. 3. Trivia - The current restrictions on our numbers mean that for at least a few more weeks trivia will not be returning I can assure you that we are working on bringing back all the events and areas you enjoy when it is both safe and practical to do so. 19.01.2022 With the easing of restrictions, you can now: gather in outdoor public spaces in groups of 30 people; and make a group booking at restaurants, cafes, pubs... and clubs for up to 30 people. Visitors to your home remains at 20 people at any one time. The total number of visitors includes adults and children. A member of the household is not counted as a visitor. As the home is a high transmission area, NSW Health strongly recommends a COVID-Safe precautionary approach of having no more than 10 visitors at a time. Please remember that with the easing of restrictions comes risk, so everyone needs to Stay home and get tested immediately if unwell Keep 1.5 metres apart unless you live together Wash your hands regularly Wear a mask if unable to physically distance. 16.01.2022 Kids Backyard Update The easing of some Covid-19 restrictions announced by the Berejiklian Government today, was not enough to allow us to re-open our Kids' Backyard as planned. We hope to be in a position to reopen the Backyard following further easing of restrictions in the near future. For all updates keep watch of our page.

15.01.2022 KIDS BACKYARD CLOSED - AGAIN After receiving advice from NSW Health to restrict non essential gatherings we have made the decision to close the Kids Backyard area until further notice. Please stay safe in the lead up to Christmas and thank you for your understanding.........again!

15.01.2022 Renew or Join in July For a Chance to win A Holiday at Angourie Resort Yamba We have commenced our renewals a little later this year due to the period of time we were closed down.... Thank you all for your patience and renewals for all our Members will commence tomorrow. For both our Female and Male Bowlers we are pleased to advise you that Membership for the next year will be $ 90. After looking at over 140 other Clubs the Average Bowling Membership was just over $ 100. We are very proud to be able to offer you all $ 90 Social Members will only have to pay $ 3 to renew for one year and we also have a 5 year option available. For ALL Members who renew in July you will go in the draw for a chance to win this beautiful short break at Angourie Resort in Yamba, have a look at the poster below for more details. For any new Members who join our Club in July they will also have a chance to win the same holiday, so if you know anyone who is thinking of joining now is the time to get them to do so and who knows you might be off to Yamba with them! If you know of any Bowlers who are looking to join, again now is the time, as not only will they have a chance to win the holiday, but any Member who signs up a Bowling Member will receive $ 50 of points put on their card that you can spend on food or drinks in the Club, the more new Full Bowling Members you sign up the more points you can earn. July is the time to join or renew !

13.01.2022 Our Friday raffles are coming back....again! Starting Friday 5th February Tickets on sale at 5.30pm with the draw taking place at 7.00pm... There will be 26 prize draw including prawn trays, roast trays, rump trays, breakfast trays and $ 100 cash Come along, but if you are please book a table so you don't miss out

11.01.2022 As we every so slowly get back to Normal we are pleased to announce that as of next week we will re open on Mondays from 11 am to 9 pm. Maze grill will also be open on Mondays for lunch and dinner We hope to be able to provide you with more information on the Kids Backyard re - opening date closer to July but for now due to restrictions sadly this area remains closed.

10.01.2022 Raffles are coming back and in time for Christmas! Two weeks this Friday in fact, starting on November 27th. They will then run each Friday until the week of Christmas and the last one will be on Wednesday 23rd December.... Each week we will have 20 half hams and 10 trays of fresh prawns with each tray being 1.5 kilos of prawns! That is over $ 1500 of prizes each Friday for 5 weeks! What a way to bring them back. We encourage you all to book if you are dining and remind you that Covid- Safe regulations are still in place. The only sad part still is that due to the current Covid restrictions (ON LICENSED PREMISES) that still do not allow "mingling" between groups and different areas, our Kids Backyard remains closed for now. As soon as these restrictions are eased we will let you know. Anyway, the raffles are back and with all those prizes on offer it will be a great lead up to Christmas!! Hope to see you all here

04.01.2022 Hi folks, Just a quick update on Club promotions for you Due to the current Covid 19 Situation in Sydney we feel it is best for our Members and Guests to hold off for a few weeks on our raffles and Kids Backyard... We will review the situation at the start of August Safety of our Members and Staff is our upmost priority and we can assure you all that our Covid safety plan is in place with staff adhering to all required measures. Peter Swaby

03.01.2022 To all our valued Members, We have a great entry level opportunity position that may suit a year 12 student or someone who is studying child care or similar. Our Kids Backyard area, which includes play equipment and a jumping pillow, could be re-opening soon as Covid restrictions ease and we need casual staff to help supervise the area and kids as well as keep it clean.... It will be open on Friday evenings and weekends only to start, so you must be able to work those days. Full training will be provided for the right persons and we will also pay for their working with children background check and Responsible service of Alcohol. Many of our staff who have worked in this area in the past have now been trained to work in other areas of the Club such as bar, gaming and reception and if our new casuals prove themselves the same opportunity would be offered after a year or so. Do you know anyone who would fit in to our family team here at NBC? If so enquire now and send some details through as to why you think they would be the right person for this exciting opportunity.
