06.01.2022 *ON MOTIVATION* (pt 1/2) Ive been asked by some people on tips and tricks to get motivated but as I was listing them I couldnt help but feel theyre just wasted knowledge. Any tips is useful if you apply them, so why do we still seek help when it comes to motivation?... Truth is no tips will change your behaviour. If you dont want to do it and youre not forced to, chances are you wont. Its easy to get up and workout when you feel like doing it, but what about when you dont? Sure you can be motivated for a week, but can you keep going for a year? I personally struggle to do workouts myself, especially days when my anxiety is high and my mood is low. What keeps me going is not using a reminder in my calendar or l prep my clothes the night before, but I flip my mindset entirely. If you are not excited to workout, you wont stick to it. Be Accountable for your workout, and have real consequences if you dont reach your goal.... - track your progress with photos, notes and apps - ask your family and friend to keep you accountable 2. Invest in memberships, tools and equipment 3. Be organised and create momentum - pack your gear the night before, have your workout mapped out and ready to go 4. Fake believe Even if you dont believe the workout will be helpful, go anyway. 5. Think less. Dont psych yourself out by overthinking. If youre gonna go, just go and dont think about it.
