24.01.2022 - An opportunity exists for an Enrolled Nurse to join the team at Neal Street Medical Clinic. Our practice prides itself on the delivery of high-quality patient care, complemented by a friendly and supportive nursing team. The role will involve, treatment room duties such as ECG’s, spirometry, childhood immunisations, travel vaccinations, wound care, assisting Doctors with minor procedures and assisting with recall and reminder systems.... The available position is initially for 2 days per week with the potential to increase hours over time. Remuneration will be in accordance with experience, qualifications and the Nurses Award 2010. The successful candidate must be able to work morning and afternoon shifts, 1-2 Saturdays per month and be flexible to be able to fill shifts when required. To be successful in this position, it is essential that you meet these criteria: - Current AHPRA registration - Experience in General Practice is desired - Strong communication skills- verbal, written and interpersonal - Computer knowledge, experience with Best Practice software preferred - Positive attitude and an eagerness to learn - Flexibility and willingness to cover personal/annual leave If you fit the above criteria, then we want to hear from you! 04.01.2022 The Department of Health has issued a thunderstorm Asthma warning for the State today. Make sure you have your asthma medications with you. Stay indoors where and when possible. Seek medical help early if you are having trouble breathing.



03.01.2022 The Department of Health has issued a warning about severe thunderstorm asthma today for parts of Victoria. The pollen count is going to be pretty high throughout Victoria. The Macedon Ranges traditionally has a higher level of pollen count normally, so it may affect our area as well, despite not being shown on the map below as such. Make sure you carry your asthma medications with you. Stay indoors where and when possible today if you suffer from asthma or hay fever. Seek medical help early if you have any problems breathing.
