24.01.2022 Hi all I painted this piece a little while ago, and decided to release 50 A2 prints after the original sold. The painting depict’s what I saw in my mind whilst... thinking of a WW1 air dog fight. I thought I’d put them up to interested parties, 50% of gross sales will be donated to Australian Homeless Veterans, it is a not for profit registered charity doing great work all over Australia. 23.01.2022 This was a little different for me, I painted this piece a little while back live at a fundraiser for the Brest cancer foundation. It was a lot of fun to paint and it raised some much needed funds for a great cause.

23.01.2022 Hi guys My very first DTF T shirt printed in house, so I finally get to see many of my original paintings printed on cotton T shirts. Yes we have some fine tu...ning to do over the next few days. I’ll work on a number of layouts, and we have our web page to load these images in both the gallery, one the shop. So we will be ready to complete a wide range of original images, on Male and Female T-shirts, Prints from A3 right up to A1, metal plagues mounted, and so much more. I’ll keep you updated.

To all who sent in videos (many more that are yet to be... published), thank you so much. We are keeping George really busy so feel free to keep them coming. Attempting to hide the Productivity Commission response in the budget, to ensure their was little focus on veterans, shows just how sneaky and arrogant Scott and his team are. Disgusting behaviour - they don't discuss the situation (they lie or give you the marketing spin that they have become so adept at, or they do both). We won't give up, they might not care about Brad, Brock, Daniel, Jesse, David, Michael, James, Paul, Ryan, Graeme, Kevin, Shaun, Mick, Steve, Adrian, Craig and so many more, but we do. They are real people and they are no longer with us. We care about our veteran's, yet they continue to die at record rates. 22.01.2022 Ok guys I would like to spend a minute talking about raising funds for our veterans in need I’ve modified one of my favourite paintings and will release it as ...a T-shirt. This one is a tribute to our Vietnam veterans. There will be others. So a quick question. Would you wear this? If price is $55 and $10 from every sale was go towards our veterans in need?
21.01.2022 I’m still working on the pose of a young Ned in his mid teens explaining to the law officer that he had not stolen the horse, Apparently things went down hill f...rom there. As the officer fired at Ned (the gun miss fired) 3 times, this could have easily been Ned’s last stand. Ned beat the pulp out of the officer and if not for the bystanders might have gotten away. The end result was prison for a youn Ned.

19.01.2022 Joe Zapp has finalised the last painting in the set of 4/4. What a brilliant effort. There will be prints of original available for purchase to these paintings.... 50% of print sales go our cause. These paintings will be auctioned off over the 5 day, Walk With a Legend, Remembrance Week 2020. My first after being invited by a fried, interesting morning. The other was a piece I painted for a project I had in mind called We Salute You. The idea was to paint up to five local veterans from a local RSL for a book I had in mind, I’m considering revising the idea, we’ll we. Hope you like them. Cheers
19.01.2022 I’ve done a bit more work on this piece, can’t decide if I should make it a cool early morning, or a warm late afternoon. I’m leaning towards the afternoon, it’...s the simplest pieces that can give you the most problems, but as I’m not one to give up, I’ll continue on. Painting isn’t just placing an image, it requires thought, planing, and consideration regarding location, light source movement, etc. When all these things come together I’m a happy camper. I t is my intention to produce a painting of 5 of your local veterans that you feel best represent the spirit of your group, club, or association. I do not require any monetary assistance from your group, my need would be a photo of the individual, name and some background on his ,or her service details. This project is to be the basis of a book on our local veterans. The completed paintings will then be part of an exhibition. Honouring our local history, Your participation would be gratefully appreciated, Their story, along with the story of the club or group they represent will make up the basis of the text of the book. It is expected that This project will entail in total, 100 paintings. I have a number of completed paintings for this project, the post shows a sample of the works. This offer is open to all groups. 15.01.2022 So guys I’ve been asked why I’ve taken such a different approach in my layouts in dipicting Ned. Now I understand this is different from the traditional way Ned... and the boys are depicted but I wanted my T shirts to be a little different, slightly more modern design. Ned is an inspiration to young and old so that’s my reason for the change, now having said that I’m not forgetting my more conservative friends and my shirts are also available in the more traditional stile. The Rats of Tobruk often ...got involved in skirmishes and I whanted to show that hand to hand combat was not uncommon. Hey guys have a great Christmas and an amazing new year. This is Sam Morello he and his brothers owned Morello motors for many, many years, through a combination on health issues th...ey decided to sell their service station. This was my local service station and I have made use of their talents many,many times over the past 30 years, so when Sams wife asked me to paint this as a surprise present for Sam I was happy to oblige. So this is the finished painting And this is Sam. So sad to see them leave , but I guess life is constantly changing, have a great break guys.

I will place his riffle, and side pistol in it’s holster close by, as suggested by a friend, it makes sense that he would have them close, just in case. I’ll keep you updated.

This will be ongoing, the sale . Of all shirts depicting our military history wil help our veterans in need. As you may know I have a large collection of original Military paintings, I will utilise this resource to create a series of great T shirt designs. I will re design images only from my original painti ngs to create what I hope will be T-shirts that you would be proud to wear. I had firm ideas on location as New Guinea the landing at Lae, but in reality it could be any location, I hope you like it, this piece will now join my Men of Valour (the way of the ANZAC) exhibition and show. I’ve been wanting to do this for quit e a while, and I guess now is as good a time as any. I’ve received a number of photos from several groups wanting to participate in this free project and I’ve also received some great stories about these amazing veterans. I’ll keep you posted .

This project is open to all clubs, gro...ups, and associations interested in participating. The We Salute You Project will consist of 100 paintings of our local veterans, and their stories, on completion the paintings wil be published and released as a book . The paintings will be part of an exhibition depicting to our young people and our local community that although they may not be aware. There are heroes waliking amongst them. 03.01.2022 So guys some of you would recognise this painting of INXS from my Legends of Aussie Rock who, not sure if I’ll revise it in 2021. We will have to see.
03.01.2022 I painted this piece for a client whose dad served in WW1. He remembered stories that his dad told him. He wanted me to translate them onto canvas, this is what... I painted after hearing them, he told me that he remembered the sadness in his fathers eyes nd the pride in his dad’s voice. One of the comments that he made, almost in parsing, he said his dad would always say, that the heroes in war were not fearless, what made them heroes is the fact that they moved forward regardless of the fear. Those were the word that inspired this piece.

So I thought about it and I did a bit... of work, and here’s the design I come up with. This is one of my favourite paintings, it depicts many of my favourite heroes, I thought it appropriate for this unique project. Hope you like it. 01.01.2022 Ok guys by now some of you know that this is how I begin my paintings, no sketching no details I just block in what I have in mind for a layout, this method all...ows me to change my mind at almost any stage. So this piece will show Ned getting questioned about the ownership of the horse he was riding and what led to the fight between him and the officer and his arrest for horse theft. Any information or general details on the incident is welcomed and would be very helpful. So here we go.
