Hopefully massage centres will open soon but meanwhile we are running some special MFR classes which work as a head to toe massage and stretch out that leaves your body is a nourished and blissed out state. 16.01.2022 Dear Friends, I believe that the worst thing we can do is panic. The second worst thing would be to do nothing. In the words of one of my favourite modern day story tellersI think this will be our generation’s world war. Hopefully this war will be short and hopefully the most dire predictions will prove to be alarmist. The one fortunate twist is that all of us will be fighting a common enemy.... My primary concern right now is the safety and wellbeing of our teachers and students. I also believe that in times such as these we all need, more than ever, a Yoga and meditation practice as our haven, retreat and as a solid foundation to our physical and mental wellbeing. I closed the studio Friday to research best practices and current industry standards, taking lead from our international colleagues. I’m pleased to announce we will remain open with moderated operating procedures and the addition of option of online attendance. I have placed hand sanitizer on the front desk, could you please use when entering the studio? If you would rather wash hands please use the sink at the back of the studio. Please place shoes and personal effects near the water feature and not bring them into the studio. Mats: we would encourage you to use your own mats during this time. If using ours we ask that you continue to spray mats after class. If you are a regular you are welcome to take home one of our studio mats with a $25 deposit. $50 deposit will give you a mat and blanket to use at home until this crisis has passed. Props: eye pillows and straps will temporality be removed from use. If you would like to continue to use a bolster please bring a towel to use with our bolsters. Balls and Blocks will continue to be used and cleaned after each class. Social distancing: we are fortunate to have a beautiful large space to practice in. During this time we would ask that you place your mats 2m apart from other students which is in excess of current 1.5m guidelines for social distancing. Adjustments: during this time our teachers will refrain from giving hands on adjustments. We love our adjustments and look forward to reintroducing them to our classes again soon. Teachers will maintain extra physical distance from students. Please follow all latest guidelines for isolation, particularly if you have a cough, have travelled overseas or associated with others who have. We understand that there will be some of you who would rather not come to the studio and just hunker down and enjoy time at home. If you would like to attend classes we will be arranging for remote access via Zoom, please contact me if you would like to be set up. Anyone in our Yoga community who is self isolating or has lost employment through this period will be invited to enjoy 5 free online classes. We are deeply grateful for your support as it is your continued support through this time that will allow us to reopen our physical space again. Students with existing passes will have their remaining credits transfer to our Zoom classes.... 07.01.2022 We have been a little late to join the Zoom Yoga party but we have it figured out now and are ready and waiting to be of service to you in the comfort of your living room. There is a Wednesday 12 noon Flow class of 45 minutes. Yin Classes are Monday 6pm, Wednesday 6pm and Sunday 4pm and run for an hour. Light a candle, roll out a mat and come join us.... Participants sound is muted so don’t be worried about what is going on in your background....kids, dogs and cats have all been popping into Zoom classes. Any students with pre purchased visits can use them online, thereafter pricing is $12 per class or a ten pack for $90. First time students can have our intro $49 for 30 days.
