05.01.2022 Dear Neighbours, It is with great sadness that Neighbourhood Coffee Roasters at the Rainworth General Store at 58 Rainworth Rd Bardon, will be closing on the 22nd September. We are a family with young children, and we have come to the realisation that we need to use our time and resources wisely so that we find the most suitable work/life balance.... We will be concentrating our efforts on building Neighbourhood Coffee Roasters from our Albion location where we roast coffee and run a cafe. It is a great space and we would love to continue serving you there if you come to that side of town. We have not made this decision lightly. We believe that Neighbourhood at Bardon has become a very important community space for this area. The old shop sets the most incredible scene for a space that has served the community for about 120 years. It is incredibly heart-warming when we observe: children exploring the back garden with wonder; elderly members of our community reporting their sense of nostalgia in the shop; people finding a little pause from the busyness of their day; newborn babies becoming a part of the community; a neighbour tending so lovingly to the side garden; and regular customers coming down to the cafe to meet with their neighbours every day. We are now firm believers that community connectedness is vitally important in our often fragmented and busy lives. We will continue to be the custodians (owners) of this dear old shop, and we would like to lease it to someone who has an inspired vision for how they would use this space. Please contact us on 0413787011 if you are interested. With love and gratitude, Alex and Steph Ridgway.

04.01.2022 Its National Recycling week. Its important to us to give our customers every opportunity to play their part in supporting the environment. Thats why we only use #recycleme cups.

03.01.2022 In Katrina Blowers opinion, caffeine is the most important part of the day! Here is where she likes to head with friends for a coffee and catch up...

01.01.2022 DEAR NEIGHBOURS One passion you must inherit to be in our team is the desire to be closer to our food source. Our Bardon team wants you to experience a working living food garden. Brunch should be a time to slow down and connect with ourselves and our loved ones. ... Our roastery team employs a number of skilled tasters, roasters and baristas to showcase speciality coffee intimately in its many forms. We see ourselves as a collaborative buch who work respectfully with each other. Our coffee is as much about creating incredible flavours even if you want sugar in your coffee without judgement. We want you to appreciate quality as we do without pretentiousness. To make our vision grow and share our philosophy to make our childrens children community sustainable it starts today. Follow the link and vote for us (leave a comment). Regards Alex Ridgway Director Neighbourhood Coffee Roasters
