16.01.2022 I know, I know.... Fair to say I'm about as committed to this face book thing as I was to "Tracey whatsername" back in grade five when she plonked herself next to me and said ... " you're my boyfriend and if you want this to work you better start colouring inside the lines ..... Why it never worked out I'll never know.... But I guess she's making someones life a misery Anyhoo the river is clearing up and the last month has produced some numbers of good condition mulloway ....... I've been going hard keeping up with the live mullet orders so that tells a story...Fair to say the bream are patchy but good sized fish both sides of 40cm are spread through the river ... Some fish are still spawny so feel free to put some back to spread the love...... lots of guys are buying fresh pod worms cause they're working well for the bream especially up river.... Perch are going ok down in the lower reaches with Ray and Brandon Doorman snagging a few goodies last weekend on plastics.... I've heard a few reports of perch back feeding on the surface so time to have a crack at what I recon is the best fun on the river...... Some deep gutters on the beaches as we speak and with the weather coming good the surf fishing might be a good option.... Those that put the time in do well...Check our houseboat out if your looking for a fishing base on the river.... There's nothing better than waking up on the river.... 15.01.2022 Merry Christmas everyone thanks heaps for another year of support... can’t wait for the mother in-law’s Christmas dinner....she’s the only person I’ve ever seen say grace with a ciggy hanging out the side of her mouth and while she says thanks for good health ...she opens her eyes... eyeballs me pinches me under the table.... while mouthing the words not you.... Good Segway.... the fishing is also going pretty mental ... heaps of mulloway, bream and some monster perch... Beetle Bailey caught a PB perch over 2.5 kg then released it Due to a late cancellation we do have the house boat available now from Boxing Day for three nights. Give us a call in the office on Boxing Day if your keen.

03.01.2022 You know when the beach freezes over it time to call it for the year. Some halfwit was out chasing bait at dawn... I haven’t been this cold since the last time the mother in-law stared at me. We’re closing now for winter and will be back in the spring hopefully with a new building. Watch this space. In the meantime I’ll swing up to Queensland and live a life somewhere between Warwick Capper and El Chappo... cheers
