23.01.2022 Only a few weeks until our show!! Every week we will introduce you to a few of our company members so make sure to keep an eye out and get to know them all! We would love to introduce you to one of our beautiful dancers Keely Lister. She dances with such energy and determination and puts her heart and soul into every movement. Keely dances with such passion, skill and emotion, she knows how to engage the audience and makes you sit on the edge of your chair wondering what is g...oing to happen next. We are very lucky to have Keely as part of our Team. Come support our wonderful Keely perform on the 8,9 and 29 of July. Best experience in dance? One of the best experiences in dance was and is being able to create a bond with people who share the same interest. What does dance mean to you? - I have never not danced. Dancing is and always will be apart of my life. It is a way of releasing energy and any stress that I may be feeling that day. Why did you join Neovida? - I Joined Neovida in 2018 so that I could continue to dance and perform. It has given me the opportunity to challenge myself and grow as a dancer What are you looking forward to most about Somnium? - I can not wait to perform on stage and portray many important messages alongside all the other amazing company members. What’s a hidden talent you have? - Skilled at procrastinating

18.01.2022 Robbing ourselves of the great pleasures in life only makes us perform worse. We need to be happy, and do things we like doing if we want to excel in whatever it is we're focusing on. And that's what we are doing..... Love our team! Showing a choreography created by Olivia and keely through an improvisation activity during our neo Vida rehearsal yesterday. 07.01.2022 I would like to introduce my dance company, Neo Vida, which is based here, on the Sunshine Coast. We are not a school and don't offer classes. The company exists for the purpose of creating, performing and producing dance works in, and for, our community. Our goal is to support local talented dancers with their passion for dance and give them the opportunity to perform and follow their dreams, complementing their training and experience. Neo Vida specialises in creating, per...forming and producing dance works in a style that is original to the Sunshine Coast. The Company’s aim is to support local talented dancers with their passion for dance and give them the opportunity to perform and follow their dreams. We also encourage development and performance dance works with the emphasis on modern dance influenced by European and Australian art forms, which in turn will support and help grow this art on the Sunshine Coast. The company is created to keep our local talent home, and to bring the community together. My vision is to create an artistic, passionate and thriving dance community on the coast, in collaboration with the dance schools, in order to offer our home grown elite dancers, dance teachers and choreographers the opportunity to perform. Dance is at its best when people work together and, as artists, we should work together in order to create something even greater by sharing our passion for dance and individualism, as well as for personal development and enjoyment. Neo Vida is already working closely with several dance studios offering senior students (and teachers) the chance to be a part of this celebration of our local, dance industry. Due to the success of our debut performance in August, 2017, the company has doubled its members and choreographies and we are now working with videographers and lighting technicians with over 20 years industry experience. We are proud to announce and would like to invite you all to our upcoming performance "Lost in Wonderworld", which will be performed at local venues in 2021.
