04.01.2022 This is a tattoo of an Areola reconstruction post breast cancer. It’s a work in progress. The photo was straight after completion, so the pigment hadn’t even began to settle. To do this from nothing requires focus. The colour selection needs to match, the size needs to be appropriate. We need to be super sterile. Usually the nipple and the Areola are completely missing. It is possible to surgically recreate a nipple, we call them BoobyAngels. Don’t be afraid to ask us. Our d...octor is very aware of post mastectomy needs. Being diagnosed and living with breast cancer is confronting enough. The image barely touches the side of this journey. A small thing like a 3D tattoo can make such a big psychological difference for some women.
