25.01.2022 Our second day at Neurophysics with Tom Ware and Sam has had another great day! Here you will see the comparison between last September(3rd video), where he cou...ldn't use his right hand to hold on, his right arm was also stiff and had considerable tone whenever he put in effort and his wrist was rigid. He was weak in his right leg with the left leg doing most of the work, and he also suffered tone in his lower left leg. Today he is able to use both arms and his hand is able to hold on to the equipment handle for several minutes before needing a break. His right leg is considerably stronger, as is his core. Sams body had a very small area of interest due to not being able to move his body very much at all for several year. This movement took a lot of courage and overcoming of fears to perform. He needed to expand his bodies area of interest and stimulate the areas of his brain that coordinate our bodies movements in space time. It was epic to see him liberate his body like this.

17.01.2022 We have spent the last two weeks at the NeuroPhysics Therapy institute on the Gold Coast with Ken Ware and Nickie Ware. Ken has been a mentor of mine for optima...l performance on expeditions for the last ten years. Watching them work with patients who have spinal cord injuries, stroke, brain injuries, motor neurone disease and many more disorders, has been incredible. Simply spending a day here with these patients from all over the world who are battling to get back to full function, will leave you never feeling sorry for yourself ever again. Kens NeuroPhysics Therapy is truly incredible, and watching him guide the nervous system of his patients back to health is as real as it gets. Due to Tasmania still being in lockdown, tomorrow Elise and I will fly to Darwin where we will cycle all the way home to Tasmania over a couple of months. 16.01.2022 A fantastic week at Chaotic Energy with Treena. Treena has MS, and lives in country WA. Her and her hubby Bob, travel to Perth for NeuroPhysics Therapy - develo...ped by Ken Ware NeuroPhysics Therapy Institute. I’ve been working with Treena consistently since Oct 2020. In Oct Treena presented slouched in her wheelchair unable to sit up and knees locked together in a very protective posture. Treena found it very difficult to transfer from her wheelchair to machines and lots of fear and anxiety was evident. We’ve been working through the NeuroPhysics Therapy (NPT) program and slowly getting her system to relax and refer to the new information being put in and the progress since has been fantastic. These videos are from our latest session. Huge, huge progress and so great to see. Bob, Treena, myself and all the clients in the centre were in tears! 11.01.2022 Day 15. What a load of fun today!!... but also some truly hard work experiencing body movement, balance, utilizing a whole lot of muscles that havent been used in a while, and a lot of trust too!! Working with Tom and Nickie today at Ken Ware NeuroPhysics Therapy Institute

11.01.2022 First day of week two, and today we studied under the master himself, Ken Ware. As always, it was an incredibly intensive session learning more about the brain,... the left and right hemispheres and the crossover between the two, the corpus callosum. Much of the work focused back on the small movements and encouraging the body to find it's synchronicity between right and left. Sam, who always expects more of himself, was told about the importance of talking oneself up...I can do this, I know I can do this. Positivity and self belief are of course vital to recovery. Again the day was filled with precious moments and a tear or two as Sam sat focusing inwardly on his arms and moving them, perfectly in balance, in and out, in unison. A smile emerged on his face, his eyes opened and his face lit up as he looked at each of us with excitement...could we see? Was it evident? 11.01.2022 We are constantly amazed to watch the progress as Ken works with Sam, talking him through every move and connecting Sam with each muscle in his body, correcting... posture, aligning and coordinating movements. The coach and the student as Ken calls the left and right limbs..... let your left teach your right..... and then, the left thinks hes a bit famous, tell him to sit back and let the other side have a go. Sometimes he stops Sam and gives the body a soft shake, or holding together with Sam to make flowing movements with the arms or legs to break the pattern the brain has fixed on. The brain whisperer is constantly there, totally focused, and encouraging each movement to perform its best. 10.01.2022 I had the privilege to support a mate of mine up to the gold coast just recently to a new rehabilitation facility, neurophysics therapy. 01.01.2022 Its been 7 months since my last expedition, my longest gap between trips for many years. My body has enjoyed the rest and my mind is now focused on upcoming ex...peditions. Im back up to 95kg in body weight and probably the fittest I have ever been. I have just completed a week of NeuroPhysics Therapy with the master Ken Ware and it has primed my system for the future. The state borders are opening again and my Australian Book Tour is scheduled to begin on August 10. I cant wait to share my stories at 30+ events around the country.
