21.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE We are certainly operating in unprecedented conditions with the situation surrounding COVID-19 continuing to evolve. At Neutral Earth Electrical NT we are focused on the health and well-being of our people, customers and business. We are taking an informed approach that is balanced and guided by the expert medical advice of Australian Government authorities. At present it is business as usual with no impact on our ability to supply our customers with our prof...essional services. Presently we are working on site completing our electrical works as usual. We ask, that clients maintain personal hygiene and also obey the social distancing measures recommended by the Australian Government. One positive aspect of the Prime Minister’s announcement this week was the Government’s recognition that business must be allowed to continue to operate to support an economy weakened by the impact of this virus. It is a good time to support local industry and Australian jobs. Our commitment to service and supply to our customers remains unchanged and we are ready to assist with your requirements. If you would like any further information, please contact one of our friendly staff.

13.01.2022 Had some of the team go out Seven Spirit Bay Lodge, as we are refreshing the old accommodation units and installing en-suites onto them. We also had a bit of spare time to experience some of the great fishing and adventures on the Coburg peninsular. Please feel free to call us with any sort of electrical job as we are more than happy to help.

13.01.2022 Doing our bit for the environment. 2 boxes of tubes dropped off to NTRS. Fluorescent bulb recycling begins with the lamps and tubes being fed into the LP600 Light Waste Processing Plant. In an enclosed process metal (mostly aluminium) and glass are stripped out. That leaves behind the phosphor powder that contains the mercury. In Australia, disposing of light bulbs usually means dumping millions of them into landfill. The problem is, fluorescent tubes and compact fluorescent lamps contain mercury. It may only be a small amount per lamp, but with such large volumes involved this waste stream represents a significant source of mercury pollution. It takes just one gram of mercury to contaminate a billion litres of water beyond acceptable limits, so you can understand why we take fluorescent light bulb recycling so seriously.

12.01.2022 We were pretty stoked to have won a BOAT! Thanks to United Forklift & Access Solutions. https://www.unitedequipment.com.au
