Without measurable outcomes how do we know if we are improving. How often we test throughout the year is completely individualized and dependant on many variables. Age, Training age, Current capacity & what are you testing for? GPP, Weightlifting or Crossf...it competition. These variables will ultimately determine the frequency and intensity of testing, showing the importance of following correct phased individualised program. PLAY THE LONG GAME Short term progress is insignificant with that, that can be built over the long term.
