24.01.2022 Thursday 18th Dec will be the squad's last training ride for the year. We will have a 2 week break over christmas/new year and will start training again on Monday 5th January 2015.

24.01.2022 Training for the Easter school holidays. There will be no training on Monday 6th, or Wednesday 8th April. Normal training back on Monday 13th April.

20.01.2022 Another great Christmas ride this morning. Charles Dallen again proved himself unbeatable in the Christmas costume competition. This year he came dressed as a Xmas tree. Jarrett earns an honourable mention for his wise man outfit. Jonah and Nat were also impressive in their matching present outfits. Alex took the title this year of Balance Box Champion 2014. Holly and Nick also received awards for most improved riders. Well done to all riders, you are a great group to coach and we look forward to seeing you in 2015!

19.01.2022 Thanks for the farewell this morning. I am very fortunate to coach such a fantastic group of young riders. And a big thankyou to Jarrett, Steve, Sam, Nat, Jonah, Mitch and Stuart for all the help with running the squad over the last 6 years. Keith Harris is also joining the squad as a coach. 17.01.2022 Any riders who are keen to race cyclocross over the winter should come along to the Friday cyclocross training at Henry Park (cnr Beaumont St and Glebe Rd, Hamilton. Session runs from 0630-0730 and mountain bikes are fine to use if you don't have a cross bike.

15.01.2022 Spring Training Camp - Gloucester Due to clashes with racing we have made a change to the dates for the camp. It will now run on the middle weekend of the school holidays, 25th-27th September. The email got sent out this morning. So if you did not receive it, but would like to attend the camp, let me know.

12.01.2022 Thanks to everyone who attended the training camp this weekend for making it a great trip. I was really impressed with how everyone rode. Also a big thanks to everyone that volunteered their time to help out - particularly our head chef and vehicle driver. Thanks Warren!

12.01.2022 Final reminder for the christmas ride tomorrow. 6am at the PCYC. All riders welcome to attend, parents included. We will be doing a Christmas parade around the beachfront before stopping for breakfast at Juicy Beans. Bring $10 for a bacon and egg roll and a coffee/hot chocolate. Costumes are compulsory and there will be a prize for best dressed.

I will be confirming the booking for the training camp tomorrow so if anyone is yet to reply and let me know they are coming, please do so. We will be back to normal training this week. If it is raining we will train indoors. Bring a towel for indoor sessions.

10.01.2022 School Holiday Training. There will be normal training the first week of the school holidays. We will have our training camp on the middle weekend 25th-27th September. There will be no training the second week of the holidays. Term 4 training will commence on Monday 5th October.

08.01.2022 Would any NJCS riders like some free kit? I will be bringing a random selection of skinsuits, Aussie kit, skins, undershirts, gloves etc to training next Wed morning. First in, best dressed. Get to PCYC at 5:50 to choose what you want before training.

06.01.2022 A date for the calendar. We are planning to hold the first squad training camp over the Queen's Birthday long weekend, 6th-8th June. The venue will be Smith's Lake.

05.01.2022 Hi all. The motorbike we use for squad rides has to get a service. It is booked in for the 22nd June. Does anyone have a motorbike we could use for squad rides in the meantime?

05.01.2022 We had great participation today from squad riders at the Mick Chapman crit. I only caught up with a few riders at the finish so don't know yet how everyone went. I did see some great rides in the men's U17. Brady had a great sprint to finish 3rd. Lucy also rode really well took 3rd in her race. Great work guys!

03.01.2022 We had some great rides at the cyclocross today from some of our squad members. Brady and Alex on the podium in the Open race. Sam and Louis on the podium in the junior race. Josef and Mac also really well in the junior race. Great effort and looking forward to round 3!
