23.01.2022 Hi All. With the latest restrictions announced by the State Government coming in to effect as of Midnight tonight we have all been faced with changes to our workplace. For us here at New Edge Building Design we are Business NEARLY as usual.... Building Designers and other built environmental professionals are included in the category of CONSTRUCTION therefore we are able to continue work with restrictions. With so many in the building industry attempting to seek clarification on the restrictions placed on the Construction sector, our workplace association being Design Matters have been amazing with their communication and updates through these times of uncertainty. Being predominantly computer based work we can continue to work through on our existing jobs. We will not be attending any site visits for a measure. For our new jobs which do require a site measure we do apologies that we will not able to commence until the Stage 4 restrictions are released. We are still contactable by phone (0359052890) and email. I would like to thank all our valued clients for the understanding and patience this week whilst we have worked through the changes required. If you have any concerns about your project please don’t hesitate to contact the office, however as mentioned above we are able to continue to work on our current jobs. Good luck to everyone in these trying, a lot of people and businesses have been put under a lot of pressure not only this week but through the entire Covid period. Stay safe.

19.01.2022 Unfortunately no changes for us at this stage. Business Victoria have confirmed as has our association that visits to occupied properties are still NOT permitted. This is really disappointing news (again) for us and our clients that are patiently waiting.... I will endeavour to get in contact to the many clients that are awaiting to discuss.

18.01.2022 Another job with everyone working hard for handover. This family home has taken on a extensive makeover. From a single storey brick veneer to double storey modern upgrade.

12.01.2022 Hey All. Unfortunately with the restriction releasing announced, we still are not allowed to enter occupied properties. This certainly is leaving us extremely frustrated as it is for many of our clients and builders.... I will endeavour to keep you updated with any changes when and if they come through.
11.01.2022 Another family home tracking along nicely. They have progressed nicely since these photos. We'll be sure to provide updated photos soon. Will be great to see the Scissor Truss roof finish through the living area and alfresco.

05.01.2022 Hi All. With stage 4 restrictions in place, the office is only manned by myself (Nic). We have been experiencing a really high volume of phone calls, at times whilst on the phone we are missing up to 6 calls a time.... 03.01.2022 SWIMMING POOL & SPA OWNERS As of 2 December 2019 the regulations have changed for swimming pools and spa owners. New laws introduced by the Victorian Government require property owners to register their swimming pool and spa with Council.... You must register your pool or spa by 1 June 2020. We highly recommend you read through the information from the VBA (Victorian Building Association) and understand your responsibilities as a pool owner.
