The opportunity to work so close to home, in the neighbourhood that I have lived in my whole life made real estate the logical choice for me.... What do you love about your job? There is great satisfaction in helping people to realise their property goals. Whether its the excitement of the first home buyer getting into the market, or achieving a great result for the seller who has owned their home for decades, its very rewarding to be a part of such an important event in peoples lives. Whats a feel good moment you have recently had at work? One that stands out is when a client who I had sold for 9 years ago called me to sell her parents house. The house was built in the 1920s and had been handed down in the family and had NEVER been sold. We achieved a fantastic result for the family at auction. That felt great! When youre not at work, what do you like doing? I hit the gym 3-4 days a week and enjoy staying fit. I also enjoy backyard BBQs with my family and friends, walking our dog down by the beach, and the occasional game of golf. A Sunday day-trip down the coast is also a favourite way to relax.

When my previous employer relocated to Melbourne, I found myself looking for a new opportunity. A position was available at Newton Real Estate, and as Ive always been interested in the property market, especially in the Sutherland Shire area, I thought I would be a good fit for the role. ... What do you love about your job? I love that no two days are the same. My role covers Sales, Property Management, Marketing, Training, HR and Admin. Throw into that mix the usual EA responsibilities of ensuring the Principal is always where he needs to be and it is easy to see why my day flies by so quickly! What I love most about the job is the wonderful people I get to work with each day. We have such a lovely team here at Newtons. When youre not at work, what do you like doing? I love the outdoors, whether it be exercising with my gym buddies (running, walking, triathlons pretty much anything active), coaching my daughters netball team, or socialising with friends and family (this usually involves boating on the Port Hacking, motorbike riding through the Royal National Park, or simply catching up for a few drinks and nibbles around the firepit). When we are not in Covid19 restrictions, what I like most of all is travelling the world and experiencing different cultures and ways of life.
