20.01.2022 We have more and more clients now using Kombos Shockpad underlay under their grassed areas. It makes the area great for kids to play on with the extra cushioning. This Noosa property has maximised their back yard area by building a deck over a sloping area and then installing our Comfort-30 grass and Shockpad.

15.01.2022 Traditionally there was a limited choice for low maintenance hard surfaces. Timber, pebblecrete, tiles and pavers. This often results in a very busy look and a patchwork yard. KomboGrass can be installed over all these surfaces to not only provide a low maintenance and soft walk area, but integrated space that highlights the size and flows beautifully between all areas.

14.01.2022 We are often asked about whether you can install artificial grass over concrete or tiles, and the answer is yes, we do it all the time. Since you do not need to remove the old tiles, installing Kombo grass over the tiles is often a very cost effective option. We also install to rooftops and over concrete pads.

10.01.2022 When installing no-sand infill grass, it is important to consider the best way to secure the edge of the grass. Most installers simply cut the grass sharp to the edge and then pour sand over the top of the grass. Over time this sand will wash away and expose the edge and the grass, being plastic based, can expand and contract again exposing the edge and the crusher dust or road base underneath. Kombo recommend using a bolster when securing the edges of the grass. This will ensure the grass can expand and contract without exposing the edge, it looks much nicer, less chance of weeds growing and a more professional finish.
