24.01.2022 Church nature playground is underway

21.01.2022 We live in a world of individual classrooms, because we get to be taught by the experiences of others. Some of us have endured traumatic events in our lives and because of God’s grace, we have survived, been redeemed, and made completely new in Christ! This isn’t the case for everyone. The very pain and turmoil some have experienced is what led them to turn from God. Because of that, their viewpoint will look quite differently from ours as followers of Jesus. When we en...counter people with a belief that is contrary to ours, we must understand that we're representing Jesus, and we might be the catalyst God uses to change their lives. This is where truth, covered in grace, comes in. Often, when people disagree with us, our anger rises and we want to defend our beliefs and even our God. It’s in these moments where we can, and should, speak the truth, but simultaneously allow the Holy Spirit to lead us so that we won’t cave into our sinful desires. When we walk according to the Spirit’s leading, we’ll exhibit His fruit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. As followers of Jesus, are we more passionate about our beliefs on certain hot topics that we forget that we’re to love others? If we’re more concerned with our stance than we are with loving the people God sent His Son to die for, then we have truly missed the mark. These desires can never outweigh our spiritual calling. If they do, we’re glorifying earthly issues instead of glorifying our Heavenly Father. YouVersion

19.01.2022 The principle Jesus speaks to us as He says, Our Father in heaven, give us today our daily bread, is a principle we must believe and live out. If I, as a child, would have doubted my father’s ability to provide for me, it would have offended Him. If we doubt God’s ability to provide for us, we offend Him. So, we trust Him to supply every need. This is not a lifestyle of laziness on our part. It is not that we don’t care. It is not a lifestyle that says, I won’t do my ...part. It is a lifestyle that says, God, I trust you to do your part. I trust that you will provide." In this manner I honestly pray, Give us today our daily bread. As we say those words, we are learning to trust Him. We are learning dependence and submission. We are learning to trust His perfect will for us. The provision of God is bound together with the kingdom of God. As we learn to trust God for our provision, we learn that He supplies our needs when we use our resources in the work of His king. 17.01.2022 Do you want to learn how to pray? Pray like Jonah did when he was in the belly of the fish in the depth of the seas. And pray as the inhabitants of this enormous city [Ninevah] when they discovered who God was and heard the announced punishment. Pray as if your life depends on it. YouVersion

16.01.2022 "What might happen if instead of trying to avoid life’s storms, we met our difficult situations head-on? What if we pushed through our fears and relinquished our control? What if we saw these hard times as opportunities for spiritual growth and an enlarging of our heart? What if our willingness to step into the hard teaches our children and those around us things they might never learn? Prepare your heart to expect storms and difficulties so you won’t be caught off-guard... when they happen. From His peace and presence, you are fully equipped with strength and courage to make it through to the other side. As you willingly step into difficult situations and choose to see them as opportunities for increase, you will gain confidence and inner strength from His invisible presence. Your abilities will be enlarged beyond what you ever thought possible. Most importantly, you will be able to tell those behind you that they will successfully make it through their own storms, not on their own, but with Peace in their heart. Every storm we encounter has potential to destroy us but Peace promises to guard our heart and mind. When we courageously meet that storm head-on, hand-in-hand with Him, we will lose only the things that need to die: sin, pride, negativity, criticism, selfishness, resentment. Things that hold us in deep bondage and prevent us from being who God has called us to be. Things that need to die so that we can be fully alive in Him. I imagine our trust in Jesus brings a smile to His face as He guides us through to freedom on the other side. When our eyes remain on Him in the deepest, darkest storm, we will have peace, because Peace is a Person." YouVersion See more

14.01.2022 If you believe in God...you have nothing to fear.

13.01.2022 "In our own overwhelming circumstances, we often ask the same self-centered questions as the disciples: Don’t You even care? Don’t You see me with my needs and fears? Where are You, God? I’m about to die here! Why aren’t you moving in my situation? Are you asleep? But Jesus asks us the same question He asked His men after calming the ferocious storm. Why are you so afraid? Haven’t you learned to trust yet? This is the bottom-line question: Why am I so afraid? Where is ...my trust? Has it been shifted because of my wrong thinking? Mostly likely, yes. Most of our greatest storms will be fought in our minds. Our peace and our responses will go the direction we allow our minds to take us. Our enemy [Satan] uses every opportunity to steal our trust and sinisterly smiles when our thoughts carry us to the worst possible scenario. He meets us in the whys, the if-onlys, the should-haves. His desire is that we will make agreements with his loud, never-ending lies. God doesn’t see you. He doesn’t care. He abandoned you in your greatest need. Serves you right for making that choice. You are a lost cause! And if we agree with him, he wins. Jesus never meets our storms with accusations. In love and gentleness, He asks a simple question: Haven’t you learned to trust yet? ...Our trust in Godthat place of deep, inner peacecomes from resting in what we believe to be true about Him. The more we know Him, of His love and unchanging character, the more we will trust Him. Perfect peace comes when we fix our thoughts on Him and believe that His intentions toward us are always good, because He is good. Fear and worry never have to be invited. They are quick to rush in when things are hard. But peace comes when we courageously invite Jesus into our storms, difficult relationships, and overwhelming circumstances. Peace is not the absence of difficulties, but rather, it’s the presence of a trustworthy Person who sees us, cares, and will never abandon us. He speaks to our fears, our whys and what-ifs, Hush! Calm down! When peace and security is weak or missing, could it be that your trust is in something other than the Person of Jesus Christ who is Peace? He’s speaking to us all, Haven’t you learned to trust yet? Psalm 9:9-10 The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. 10Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you YouVersion

10.01.2022 There’s nothing that can plunge you into the darkness of despair like a prolonged season of waiting. But this is when you must determine to wait on the Lord with courage. The quality that enables us to endure suffering, opposition, and the challenges of life with a steadfast and fearless confidence in God’s provision and protection is courage. And it’s your courage that’s stretched and refined in your darkest and most painful times. Courage is a state of mind that’s abso...lutely essential for the child of God to triumph. When everything looks bleak and there’s no hope in view, we dauntlessly continue to trust that the Father is in complete control. We don’t give up or quit because we have faith the Lord is still good and has wonderful plans for our lives. We’re willing to face adversity and forgo good opportunities that offer temporary comfort in order to take hold of the very best the Lord has planned for us. So how do you stay on track with His purposes for your life when everything seems dark and you feel desolate? How can you bravely take hold of the truth that God will take care of you and lead you through? Remember that 1. God is with you. He knows exactly where you are and what you’re facingand He’s walking with you, providing for and protecting you along the way. 2. He has an important purpose for the seasons of adversity you face. In order to make you His useful and effective representative, the Father trains you in the fires of adversity. Why? Because there’s nothing that deepens your understanding, stirs your compassion for others, and shows you what’s truly important the way pain does. 3. You’re in a spiritual battle (Eph. 6:12). You have a real enemy who strikes at the core of who you are. How does he do so? Through what you think and believe (2 Cor. 10:4-5). There’s no more effective time for the devil to discourage and torment you than when you’re waiting on God. He knows exactly how to pinpoint the most painful, vulnerable places in your life and lead you to despair. But through Jesus’ example in Matthew 4, you can resist the devil’s disheartening lies with courage and the powerful truth of Scripture. 4. You must express thanks to God, regardless of what happens (1 Thess. 5:18). You must give thanks in every situation and delay you face, courageously trusting in the One who will ultimately bring you through. Take couragethere’s a limit to the delays and sufferings in your life. They will only continue as long as is necessary for God to accomplish His purposes in you (Ps. 138:8). If you’ll remain courageous and faithful, trusting God to guide you through the difficult seasons of your life, then He’ll do amazing things in and through you. And He’ll move you from despair to the wonderful place where all of His promises for you are fulfilled. YouVersion

10.01.2022 I hope to see you all soon 9am prayer meeting 10am service + Sunday School

10.01.2022 No matter what you’re waiting for, you’re better prepared and suited for it if you’re centered on God. Why? Because when you focus on what you lack, it inspires despair in your heart. You obsess over your own limitations, which reinforces the bondage within you. Remember, you sin when you try to meet your needs in your own way rather than the Lord’s. So as you fixate on what you don’t have, you enslave yourself more to the sin nature, which eventually leads to destruction (Ro...m. 6:23). It’s a disheartening and vicious cycle. But when you single-mindedly set your sights on God, you realize the incredible strength, wisdom, and power that are being employed on your behalf. You have confidence because the Lord knows and provides what’s absolutely best for you. And because He’s unaffected by the obstacles that limit and intimidate you, your reasons to fear disappear (Isa. 41:10). God is faithful. If He makes a promise, He’ll certainly keep it. Don’t miss this principle because it’s one of the most important lessons you can ever learn about your ability to wait on Himit’s based completely on your understanding of who He is and the relationship you build together. 09.01.2022 What was lost...has been found

06.01.2022 What if we pre-decide that we’re going to choose people over policies and relationships over rules. What if ...we exhibited patience? ...we chose not to be offended? ...we quit taking everything so personally? ...we changed the degrading way we talk to others?... ...we focused on what we did have in common? ...we chose the big picture? Let’s not forget that God so loved...the world. Every single soul on this planet, past, present, and future, He loves. While we’ll never have His capacity to love people, we are still called to love others. Followers of Jesus can’t quote enough Bible verses to force someone to believe in Jesus. What we can do is represent Jesus by showing love, respect, and empathy, all covered with equal parts truth and grace. At the end of the day, the point of loving people we disagree with is unity. Whether the issue is petty or prominent, we can choose people first. Because if we, as followers of Jesus, want people to know our Savior and Lord the way we do, that’s where we have to start. Let’s represent Jesus well so that others want to know Him. And when they do, the Holy Spirit is quite capable of leading them to adjust any viewpoints that are inconsistent with His truth Heb. 12:14 YouVersion

06.01.2022 We’ll never completely agree with another person on everything. Not even our spouse or best friend. Of the nearly eight billion people in the world right now, there’s not a single person like you. That means there won’t be anyone with your exact viewpoint on life, politics, money, relationships, or religion. You are uniquely you, and so is the person next to you. Even though we're all different, we can still love others. Why is it important to love people when we clearl...y don’t see eye to eye with? Because Jesus said so. He said, A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another (John 13:34 NIV). When Jesus commanded us to love others, He didn’t say that we had to agree with them first. So, what does love look like? Love considers others first. Love looks for the best. Love shows respect. Love seeks unity. Love isn’t selfish. Love offers the best. Love displays patience. YouVersion
