12.02.2022 Heleni & Steve's wedding took place in the Anglican Church in Civic park in Darwin. It was the first time I had photographed a wedding in the church and thought it a fantastic location with plenty of natural light and atmosphere. After the ceremony we headed out to the adjoining park for the family and formal shots under the trees. Surrounding the church were some great locations also. The avenue of trees were a great backdrop and the doorway of the old ruins made for great photos also. The newly weds reception was at the Sailing club on Darwin harbour where we took the opportunity to take some romantic shots with the sea in the background and the sunsetting over the water.

04.02.2022 Hayley & Vinnies' wedding was out on the Darwin harbour on a beautiful old boat. At first we spent an hour in the Mantra hotel in Darwin photographing Hayley as she prepared for the wedding. This also gave me the opportunity to stage a couple of shots in the foyer with the ultra modern interior as a backdrop. Photographing wedding ceremonies on boats is always tight as the ceremony is usually on the bow and the guest crowd in close. We managed some great photographs that we were all very happy with. It was a truly romantic location with a calm blue sea and red hot sunset.

30.01.2022 Lorraine and Paul's wedding overlooked the sea and rugged coastline of Dundee beach. It was a spectacular location and well thought out ceremony perfect for creating romantic images. After photographing the formal shots on the beach we rushed off to the local Dundee termite field. With the sun setting and the red and orange colours colouring the landscape we created some of the most unique wedding photographs I have ever seen.

25.01.2022 Catliyn & Justin were married at the Sailor Boat Club on Darwin Harbour. It was a super wedding with a big crowd. I have photographed a number of weddings at the Sailor Boat Club and always think its an excellent location for a wedding. The lawns in front of the reception area are perfect for the ceremony with views over the harbour and just a short distance to the beach and boat ramp where its ideal for the more stylised bridal party shots. On this day we used the boat ramp to bring the hired car close to the water.

18.01.2022 Max & Mel's wedding was held on the top lawns of the Botanic Gardens in Darwin. Max's family came over from the UK and Mel's up from Katherine where they now live. It was a hot day, so after the ceremony and formal shots we drove to East Point and photographed the newly weds and bridal party under the trees. Max and Mel were so happy with the Wedding Album I put together that they contacted me after a couple of weeks to make up a number of extra copies.

17.01.2022 Michelle & Mark were married on a beautiful old boat out on Darwin Harbour. After an hour of photography at the Mantra Hotel on Darwin's Esplanade the bride and bridesmaids headed to Cullen Bay and joined the guests and groom on the boat. It was a very special ceremony with everyone crowded forward on the bow of the boat. Everyone had a fun time and there was a real buzz around the couple. After the ceremony when the sun was setting Michelle, Mark and myself headed to the back of the boat where we did some romantic shots. It was a great afternoon for everyone on board, many of who had come from abroad and interstate. An adventure for many who had never been on an old lugger.

13.01.2022 The Forgarty's wedding took place in the late afternoon at the Ski Club which looks out over Darwin Harbour. The ceremony was held in a perfect location away from the bar and public area. The Club is a really practical wedding location being close to the beach and NT Museum lawns where we took the formal shots after the ceremony. When the sun was setting we went down to the rocks in front of the museum and created some truly romantic images with the setting sun casting beautiful colours across the water.

13.01.2022 Janelle & Dave's wedding was in the late afternoon at the Botanic Gardens in Darwin. It is a spectacular environment for a wedding with many locations within the Gardens for shots of the newly weds, bridal party or family shots after the ceremony.

10.01.2022 Kate and Tim's wedding was at the Darwin, Casuarina Beach SLC. It was a beautiful location for a wedding ceremony. Kate spent months arranging the wedding and it really showed on the day and in the photographs. Fantastic wedding, a lot of fun and a great set of photos that the newly weds were really happy with.
