25.01.2022 Society's Unwanted are officially no more! After four years together which have included a tag-team title reign & winning the 2020 Headshrinker Samu Legacy Tag Cup, Creek Murdoch & Jebediah have gone their separate ways in a match they themselves concocted...the diabolical Hunters Cage! Before the carnage began, Creek told his former brother that he is no longer 'unwanted' & has found a new manager that will take him to the greatest heights in NHPW...the now unretired 'Lord'... London Hargreaves. Both men battled all over the arena barrelling their way through the hordes of fans in attendance. Tables, Chairs, trash Cans, metal bats, chains...NOTHING was off limits when these two collided. While Jebediah fought valiantly, the closing moments saw London assisting his new client in a 2-1 beatdown allowing Creek to trap his former tag-partner in the barbed wire cage & close the lid to retain his title. 22.01.2022 For the past month MLW have been hosting their prestigious 'Opera Cup' Tournament & the latest episode of MLW Fusion revealed two familiar finalists who will battle it out once again...our 'World Warrior' Low-Ki & 'Filthy' Tom Lawlor! Both former World Heavyweight Champions, as proud MLW Affiliates we were honoured to host for the first time on Australian soil the last clash between these two incredible fighters at 'Battle of Honor'. Whether it be for a world title or a centu...ries old wrestling heirloom, we know what both men are willing to put themselves through as well as their opponent to get the victory. 18.01.2022 Continuing on with our Top 5 List at #4 is the current Warrior Rising Champion...Creek Murdoch! With 4 wins/3 Losses to his name in 2020, (for better or worse) Murdoch definitely took time to reflect on the stronger parts of his personality. Starting off the year strong at 'Old School Reload', Murdoch defeated Kenicki Wheeler - Professional Wrestler & Lena Kross to become Warrior Rising Champion & will likely go down as the longest reigning champion to date! After finally win...ning the 'Headshrinker Samu Legacy Cup' alongside Jebediah at 'Battle of Honor', Murdoch had a series of Perth Wrestling Academy matches against Dallas McClane that seemed to bring more violence & sadism from the young fighter, much to Jebediah's dismay. This led to the inevitable split of Society's Unwanted & his shocking alliance with the returning 'Lord' London Hargreaves which proved instrumental to him retaining his title at 'Final Chapter XI in the violent 'Hunters Cage Match'. 16.01.2022 With 6 wins, 1 draw & 0 defeats in 2020, the man who ranked #1 in our 'Top 5' is the Art of Fighting Champion...Rogan Karguis! Whether you agreed with his tactics throughout most of this year, you cannot deny that it didn't bring him great success. Rogan started the year already a champion but added to his collection by winning the Art of Fighting Championship against Julian Ward - Pro Wrestler & subsequently usurped him. During our Perth Wrestling Academy Exhibitions, Rogan ...had held several open challenges to younger members of the roster whilst also defending the AOF title at the Academy & our other events against the likes of Kiel Steria, Aaron O'Malley & Lena Kross! At 'Final Chapter XI' in a vengeance fuelled 'Last Man Standing Match', Rogan was able to outlast Kross, the one fighter he had yet to beat & who had ended his Warrior Rising Championship reign all those years ago...however he didn't come out of that unscathed. Much like he did to Ward, Kross now stands on the Future Legends throne alongside Kenicki Wheeler - Professional Wrestler & Rory Holmes who have excommunicated him from the group he helped found. Promising revenge against those who have wronged him, Rogan seems to have reassessed his priorities & way of thinking now that he is alone at the top of the mountain. 16.01.2022 The main event of 'Final Chapter XI' saw the third championship confrontation between two of the Perth Wrestling Academy's fastest graduates, the Art of Fighting Champion Rogan Karguis & the IndyGurlz Australia Champion Lena Kross in undoubtedly their most violent showdown yet...A LAST MAN STANDING MATCH! Both fighters traded blows before the bell had even rung with Kross out to prove Karguis as an 'undeserving champion' while Karguis was eager to avenge his previous losses t...o the one wrestler he had never defeated. Pain thresholds were tested to their breaking points with the involvement of Singapore canes, steel chairs, ladders AND tables...all in the name of leaving each other battered, bloodied & unresponsive to the count of ten. After making their way all throughout the arena, in the end Karguis retained his title after powerbombing Kross through a table followed by a Tombstone Piledriver onto the broken table pieces. Once the match was over, Karguis attempted to congratulate Kross for her efforts but was swiftly rejected & then confronted by the other Future Legends (Kenicki Wheeler - Professional Wrestler & Rory Holmes) who seemed eager to pick the bones of Kross. When Karguis begun arguing with his 'teammates' form of 'helping', he was viciously blindsided by Kross which inspired Kenicki & Holmes to switch their allegiances to her & joined in with assaulting Karguis. In almost a mirror image from January when Karguis became the FL leader after ousting Julian Ward - Pro Wrestler, Lena Kross now stood over the prone body of Karguis now accompanied by two new powerful allies. Next months #Reload event will mark ONE YEAR since Karguis became Art of Fighting Champion, however will he have much to celebrate with the Legends betraying him & Kross now in the strongest position of her career. 12.01.2022 Cementing himself at #3 in our 'Top 5' list for 2020 is 'The Nightmare' they call Salem Sixx - Pro Wrestler! At 4 wins & only 1 defeat, throughout most of this year Salem was charging through the competition, leaving everyone victimised with the #MarkOfSalem as proof of his evil deeds. Whether it was a former Art of Fighting Champion like Jay Taylor or one of our current champions in Kenicki Wheeler - Professional Wrestler, nobody was safe from his wrath. When Salem was annou...nced for the Hybrid Tournament at 'Final Chapter XI', he looked to end the year on a high if not for the upset victory of Cannon Connors - Professional Wrestler. While Connors walked away that night as Hybrid Champion, in a heinous act Salem took his own 'pound of flesh' as payment by ripping Connors mask off his prone body. Even though he seems to be right back where he started, Salem seems to have his eyes locked on Connors & his Hybrid title from this point forward. 07.01.2022 Before we announce who ranked #1 in our 'Top 5' list for 2020, it would be remiss of us to not give an honourable mention to one Lena Kross & her new colleagues in the Future Legends! At 1 win/2 losses/1 Draw in NHPW, on paper Lena Kross hasn't had the best year. While she was able to wrestle in Sydney with the likes of Future Wrestling Australia & Newcastle Pro Wrestling, her interstate tour was cut short by the pandemic, her only win in NHPW was via disqualification against... Kenicki Wheeler - Professional Wrestler & she was unable to claim the Art of Fighting Championship during her 'Last Man Standing' match against Rogan Karguis at 'Final Chapter XI'. However in spite of all of this, Lena Kross remains the IndyGurlz Australia Champion & is now in one of the most powerful postions of her entire career alongside the SST Legacy Tag-Team Champions Wheeler & Rory Holmes. 07.01.2022 In the closing moments of '(Un)Wanted Dead or Alive' Lena Kross had (indirectly) prevailed over Kenicki Wheeler - Professional Wrestler to earn the right to face Rogan Karguis at 'Final Chapter XI'...however Lena had one condition. After #KrossVsKarguis2 ended in a 30 minute time limit draw, Lena & Rogan were both aiming to have a definitive winner Nov 28th. Kenicki attempted to 'do what Rogan couldn't' against Lena & for the most part proved an even match UNTIL the Future Le...gends started bickering & Kenicki accidentally struck the referee in frustration thinking it was Lena causing a DQ. 05.01.2022 Out of all our divisions, the Hybrid Championship scene has been most impacted from the pandemic. Because NHPW was unsure when Tommy Knight could SAFELY return to Perth, the decision was made last Friday to end his reign (with the condition he will get an automatic rematch upon returning) & hold a tournament to crown a new champion. At '(Un)Wanted Dead Or Alive', both Salem Sixx - Pro Wrestler & Cannon Connors - Professional Wrestler won their respective qualifying matches ag...ainst WAR - Pro Wrestler & Rory Holmes, advancing to 'Final Chapter XI'. More names are to be revealed soon for the Hybrid Tournament, however we must also highlight the circumstances surrounding Connors win as well as an offer made to Holmes. In retaliation for his interference back in August, Hercules Rockefeller distracted Holmes & the referee in his match allowing Connors enough time to land a Swanton Bomb for the victory. 04.01.2022 After losing to the Wrecking Crew at '(Un)Wanted Dead or Alive', it seems that was the last straw for Society's Unwanted to finally fracture. During their tag-team match Creek Murdoch became increasingly agitated at both his opponents & Jebediah's 'weakness' causing him to make more underhanded tactics until eventually he tried once again to bring a steel chair into the mix. When Jebediah stopped Creek & once again tried to calm him down, Creek left the match out of defiance ...leaving Jebediah at the mercy of both members of the Wrecking Crew. Once Jebediah was back on his feet, he challenged the man he once considered a brother at 'Final Chapter XI' to one of the most violent matches conceived in NHPW that the duo made famous...a HUNTERS CAGE MATCH! Intrepid Announcer Jake Malone managed to get this video of Creeks Response to Jebediah's challenge, trying to ascertain why he turned his back on his brother. Earlier in the year when Society's Unwanted were still a united front, Jebediah was able to claim his share of the 'Headshrinker Samu Legacy Cup' where Unwanted defeated both the 'Double Dragon' ( King Shahil & Junior Li) & the Future Legends ( Kenicki W...heeler - Professional Wrestler & Tommy Knight). In his singles career, Jebediah has remained the Perth Wrestling Academy Slaughterhouse Champion for over TWO YEARS, giving the 'younger blood' in NHPW their first taste of what one must overcome to become a champion. While he was unsuccessful in his 'Hunters Cage Match' against Creek Murdoch at 'Final Chapter XI', now for the first time in his career he is his own man, completely unhinged & free to do whatever he wants. 02.01.2022 The Future Legends have gone through many incarnations since their formation back at 'Battle Of Honor' 2019. Membership has fluctuated, leadership has been challenged but in spite of it all they still hold significant power in NHPW & one man seized the opportunity to claim his share of it...Rory Holmes! During our last Perth Wrestling Academy Exhibition 'Unwanted Dead or Alive', Kenicki Wheeler - Professional Wrestler made the offer to Holmes to join the cause, become a champ...ion & rid NHPW of anybody they deem unworthy. On the night of 'Final Chapter XI', he accepted & stood alongside Wheeler as they faced down the Wrecking Crew (once 'The Challenger', now once again 'The Champion'...)! Over the past few months of Exhibitions we've seen Holmes cost Hercules an Art Of Fighting Championship match as well as Hercules get some revenge by interfering with Holmes chances during the Hybrid Tournament Qualifiers, so naturally both men were gunning for each other throughout this tag-match. After almost thirty minutes of off-the-wall tag-team wrestling, in the end the Future Legends stood tall after Holmes landed a Swanton Bomb onto Hercules to retain the SST Legacy Tag-Team Titles.
