24.01.2022 With regard to an ABC investigation into a Chinese businessman, "Haha" Lui and reference to the the Australian Emergency Assistance Association that he has founded as being a 'neighbourhood watch', please note that Neighbourhood Watch Victoria has no connection to the AEAA Inc. Suggesting that the AEAA is in some way a neighbourhood watch is misleading. The activities and policies of the 2 organisations are vastly different. Bambi Gordon. CEO. NHW Victoria.

15.01.2022 There probably are some qualified, good meaning, tradies who go door to door to offer their services. But - how can you be sure that the blokes who just turned up out of the blue to tell you that your roof needs re-tiling are the real deal? If the tradie approaches you, be wary. Check for licenses, qualifications, recommendations. Ask to see examples of their work. Don't pay up front and always check the fine print. And if it all goes horribly wrong - call the Police Assistance Line on 131 444

08.01.2022 Drag out those masks. Remember to social distance. Use the hand sanitizer and the QR Code. We've got this if we watch out for each other.

04.01.2022 Heading away for a few days? Resist the temptation to update your social media with your holiday plans, post your beach getaway snaps or "check in" to the places you visit. Our love of social media makes it that much easier for thieves to know when we're away and even find out where we live. So save your holiday pics and stories to share with family and friends when you get back home. #SummerHolidays #HowSafeIsMyPlace

04.01.2022 In light of the newly announced cases of community transmission of COVID 19 in Victoria, the Department of Health and Human Services has updated restrictions for all Victorians. From 5pm today, when you leave your home, you MUST wear a mask when indoors and not eating or drinking. Gatherings inside the home are now limited to 15 people, instead of 30. If you were planning on having a larger gathering at your place tonight to bring in the new year, now's the time to prune your guest list. Please be safe, wear a mask, practice social distancing, use hand sanitiser and let's watch out for each other.
