24.01.2022 Swiss Ball Squat Press Great exercise to build strength in legs, core and shoulders. Stand with Swiss Ball behind lower back and rest against wall, or firm surface. Feet should be placed forward of hips with weight through heels (wiggle toes to check in right position). Engage core. ... Hold a weight in each hand and lift to shoulder height; breathe in and lower your body, pushing hips down and back towards wall. As you exhale - stand back up and push weights above your head as you go. Maintain weight of body though heels of feet and core activated. Eating too quickly = large lumps of food passing down the oesophagus causing indigestion, burping, flatulence + fewer nutrients absorbed. ... Here are 8 practical tips: SLOW DOWN! 19.01.2022 From tree to crumble So enjoyed picking apples a few days ago in a local orchard with H, going home and making a crumble. We picked a few varieties but I saved one of my favourites - an ‘Egremont Russet’ - for in the car. Tasted SO good - sweet and crunchy! This is an experience I have been looking forward to for a long time... and it took me right back to my childhood... ok maybe I was climbing the tree aged 10 but you get the picture! #devonlife

04.01.2022 Bacon Eggy Cupcakes Recipe This is a great recipe to make in advance, especially for school or work lunches! Eggs, one of nature’s superfoods, are a great source of protein and contain an incredible range of nutrients. ... Ingredients 12 eggs 8-12 rashers bacon Vegetables of your choice (onion, spinach capsicum, mushrooms etc) Herbs (basil & oregano work well, chilli flakes add some heat) 1 Tbsp coconut oil Salt & pepper Method Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Lightly grease 12-hole muffin pan & line each with a rasher of bacon. Lightly fry off veggies in frypan with 1 Tbsp coconut oil & place 2 Tbsp in each muffin. Crack an egg into each muffin hole & season with salt, pepper and optional herbs. Bake for 25min or until cooked through and egg is set. Serve with chutney or tomato relish!
