23.01.2022 On behalf off owner... six thousand Reg stock mare c1 - 244875 Creagans halo Liver chestnut mare 6yrs 14.2/3 Can't fault her on the ground .. loves being brushed, ties, floats , saddling, bridling, farrier ... Undersaddle she has done ... Athra - blue mountains groups trail riding Syd hunt club K ranch team penning ... very keen on cattle Polo ... vid of owner Pony club - gumkana games Crack a stock whip on her... vid of owner Swims Man from snowy river ride in Victoria all the way to the summit and back in the snow. Neck reining and basic flat work education as seen in the vid ... this is only my 2nd ride first ride was 10km on trails she's fabulous ... she has been ridden out and done alot more activities than flat work. I have found her very ridable and safe ... this was her first ride on my grass arena... sorry about lack off mowing I broke the ride on... in the vid the neighbor also starts pressure washing ! Which distracts her but she remains ridable. While she's with me we will be working predominantly on flat work. Teeth all done this year Strangle and Tetanus up to date Currently located in maraylya 2765 Plz pm me ... thanks nicole See more

22.01.2022 SOLD Lucy ... 6yrs 14.1 h unreg stock mare. On behalf off owner two thousand.... Lucy story.... Lucy was found by her owner when she had been left in a group agist paddock... she was underweight , had rain scald and feet had not been done in 6 mnths. Current owner took pity on her found the previous owner and bought her . She then proceed to get her up to date w everything... feet , teeth, vacc and feed. Lucy began to thrive. But already owning two other horses Lucy was sent to me for assessment and sale . Pros .... Lucy was restarted and ridden out on trails where she thrives ... super brave , huge walk , no shy , even tried her w a novice 13yrs old girl with no problems on the trail ... she is happy to lead or bring up the rear ... she hasn't shown to have any dirt under saddle .. worst she has done is to stop and swish her tail. In saying that ... In the vid I am riding and I'm much to tall at 6'4 ... but due to her unknown history we wanted to make sure she is safe. My height makes it difficult for both off us to balance ! Esp in canter. Cons ... Lucy biggest fault is on the ground... she is fine to brush and care for ... but when leading she has learnt to escape if she dosent want to do something e.g. worming ... so she will need a dually halter or to be led in a bridle for a while ... she does solid tie ... she travels well in the float but can be tricky to load. Lucy is sound and sweet ... prefers kids over adults ... but is green on the flat . She would be a great first project for someone wanting to train up a horse that is already started. She hasn't been tried on cows as far as we know ...she dosent get attach to other horses .. and have watched her try to round up my dogs ! but is great w other horses and joined my herd w zero problems. Would love to find Lucy a great new home where she will be looked after and treasured ... she has alot off potential as she foot sure and brave... the sky's the limit. Plz pm me for any info or if u would like to meet her... she is located in maraylya 2765 Thanks Nicole

22.01.2022 I'm about to make a big change within my business and return to what I spent many yrs doing ... buying retraining and selling horses ... I see many clients whom have bought the wrong horse ... many whom have been lied too ... So what makes me different than most sellers ... totally honesty ... I've turned many a buck jumper into someone's dream horse whereby the horse gets a great home and more importantly a future ... plus I let the horse pick the human .. and most importan...tly I let the potential buyer take the horse home on a 2 week trial ... I adore all my horses and if the horse is the wrong match I want the horse back !!! Plus over the yrs I have many wonderful friends :) I will still take a limited number off clients horses for starting or training if asked ... but my true passion is matching horses and people :) Also in the future I will offer a sales service ... :) I must add that my market has never been competion horses ... it's safe pleasure horses who have been trail ridden extensively... who have a good solid education on the ground and in the saddle ... who r sane !! So today I welcome what I hope will be one off many ... The gorgeous standy cat ... used as a pacer then as a broodie ... she's 10yrs old and a 16.3 tank ... Nb pic not taken at my place only wish it was green !! See more

13.01.2022 The most misunderstood concept in training .... but is everything!!! http://www.theplaidhorse.com//the-madness-behind-the-insi/

13.01.2022 So much training can be achieved at a walk ... I incorporate this when walking out on the trails ... an hr trail ride at the walk with many 5 min training intervals off training along the way followed by leaving the horse time to think e.g. leg yield ... followed by 10 - 15 mins off circles afterwards at trot and canter means a horse is well warmed up and most importantly understands what is being asked https://dressagetoday.com//instruct/walk-queen-gaits-25489

10.01.2022 So true ... Just had to repost this... The problem with horse training is that society is set up to believe that you can buy a service and have things the way you want in a certain time frame. People look at horse training as if they're spending their money on a product. And yet even the best horse trainers will tell you the horse takes its own time, and no one can guarantee a horse will be doing what you want from it when you want from it. The other problem is that even if... your trainer can get it done with your horse, it doesn't necessarily mean that you will be able to. Getting a horse right takes an amount of commitment on the owners part to develop the same type of relationship that the trainer has, otherwise how can you expect from your horse for yourself what your trainer gets, when it's they who have put in the hours, the sweat, the patience and the desire to get Along with that horse? You aren't spending money on a tune up for your car that you can take home and drive. The fact that money is involved leads people to believe they deserve something for what they paid, and they do, but, it happens in the animals time, not the humans. I think any good trainer would say they would do this for free if they could, just to help horses and people. And yet, we all have to eat. -words by Amy Skinner See more

10.01.2022 Couldn't agree more !! And exactly how horses live at my place :) esp my main herd who live here on a permanent basis ... they swim , play and interact constantly https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=2619241534808383&id=710804388985450

08.01.2022 As a trainer watching other trainers and instructors whom are local to me ... I often begin to doubt myself and my methods ... as I do things quite differently . I have the most amazing mentor in John oleary off horseproblems.com.au ... but he is located in South Australia so I am mainly self taught... BUT THEN A MIRACLE HAPPENS I open a link about Isabelle Werth... and blow me over ... she is telling the riders to walk and walk and walk and walk ...teaching inside leg to ...outside rein ... and that's EXACTLY how I train ...I'm not talking Grand Prix ... I'm talking basics ... the beginning... People see me ride or train and all I'm doing for 30 is walk around... trot for 5 mins ... and hop off ... they wonder when I'm going to start training :( I also have a cheat ... I begin in the round yard ... at a walk ... around and around .. It may look like I'm doing nothing but actually I'm doing everything!!!!... thank you thank you Isabelle Werth... I'll keep doing what I'm doing with a new sense off confidence esp when I'm handing horses back to owners and explaining how to continue there training .... With Linda Oleary training methods currently being my focus :) Thanks so much for reading xxx https://www.google.com.au//isabell-werths-dressage-trainin

07.01.2022 This is so true .... and why I trail ride all horses extensively for fitness not just for fun ... helping both their body and mind ... too many trainers ride horses in extensive circles .... and you would never walk 5km in an arena ... how many 20m would that be ... close to 100 !! Horse and rider would b bored out off there brain !!! https://m.facebook.com//a.354389364666428/680763815362313/

05.01.2022 What a wonderful article ... Forward is one off the most misunderstood terms in dressage language :( Balance is the least used term but the most important ! Contact don't even get me started!! If u need gloves so u don't rub the skin off your hands then u r holding waaay to tight and think off the horses mouth connected to the other end .. ouch !! 03.01.2022 How do I understand learned helplessness.... I lived it .... Domestic violence and abusive relationships How do u control a 500kg animal ? Fear off punishment, pain and fear ?... What makes me the horsewoman I am today ... Never ever wanting a horse to feel the way I felt... scared that any answer I gave resulted in the fear off giving the wrong answer ... Why ? cause if the answer is wrong ... i got abused... verbally physically emotionally ... But why does this result in learned helplessness.. because u don't know what the wrong answer is until u get punished for it... Rules change... they get more and more restrictive and the punishment gets more and more extreme... you r not allowed to have an opinion Trust is using the knowledge of what happened in the past to predict what will happen in the future... this does not occur... I want horses to trust that I’d listen to them , take care of them never push them too hard and never use violence against him. Trust runs both ways.

03.01.2022 Reduced to 2000 ... Fabulous trail riding horse Lucy, unreg stock mare, 14h , 6yrs. This cute little mare been with me for nearly 4 weeks and has been totally restarted. Not for beginners as she's bright and trainable.... Have taken her out on the trails in scheyville heaps... she sure footed ,no dirt , super walk , dosent get hot , she shied once but that was when a deer all off a sudden went crashing through the bush in front off us ! She has been learning flat work and picking things up quickly... though in saying that she little and narrow and I'm super tall ... so I'm throwing her out a bit as keeping my balance not easy ! I spent first week doing ground work and she's greatly improved , can now solid tie and was angel for farrier. Before coming to meet she saw dentist but looks a bit scruffy as losing her winter coat. Bare foot with great feet . She can be a bit marey and def has a personality..but never bitten or kicked... but she also very sweet and looves being groomed. She has a decent stride and is not choppy. She needs a kind hand to thrive :) She would be a great teen project or trail horse ... I also wouldn't be surprised if she excelled in endurance . Three thousand See more

03.01.2022 Gosh I love where I live .... 48hrs ago the creek bed was dry .... Today over following... best bit is all the water is the run off from scheyville nat park ... not suburbia ... all the water ends up in long neck lagoon then into hawkesbury river ... In past yrs in warmer months the kids have had a ball riding body boards ... but last few yrs been so dry :( Can't wait til the sun out and grass finally grows ... been a few yrs since we had a green spring ...

03.01.2022 Great article... def my way off thinking... actually upsets me when I've done a 20min session w a horse and horse has done everything I asked so I end session ... but owner gets upset cause they feel I should be doing a full hour ... this is not how it works esp w young or confused horses ... Owner expectations r hardest thing I battle w ... never the horses ... https://www.fearfreehorsetraining.com//for-horse-s-sake-ke

02.01.2022 Wow this is wonderful ... extremely good example off stretching the horse ... and what correct contact looks like ... the ability to put the horse in any frame at any time... no pulling required... it flows up and to stretch https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=649161688464995&id=112721155442387

02.01.2022 Appologies for lack of my posting ... 2020 been an interesting yr for everyone !! Yesterday my amazing friend Steph and I went to check out the canoelands ride that is now open.... I rode her qh Navarre :) Firstly the veiw is amazing... can see right down to the river ... and plants change as u descending the hill ... so many flowers out in bloom. The track itself was less rocky than I was expecting but some off the hills are quite a steep decent ... need too zig zag down...... the track itself is 9km each way ... but end point is a look out not the river .. which is only accessible by foot. We rode about 6km before turning back.. as although both horse were reasonably fit it's a big climb back up ... but we had a couple off fun hoons ... though if was wet the clay could be quite slippery. The hardest part is the entrance... u have to park in the dead end street about 50m up from the gate and there was alot off rubbish... though no traffic. Actually I take that back ... the hardest part was entrance to the park ... in order to stop motorbikes u have to walk through an obstacle... see pics ! Surpringly I led both horses through and we rode them going home... but honestly I've never seen anything like it ... potential for something to go wrong is huge if horse tried to jump and was being led ... but we got through safely. Would i recc this ride ... honestly I'm not sure ... Sorry didn't get many pics off veiw I was most fascinated w the entrance!!! See more
