They are used to handling and balancing many activities at once; in the salon this translates to always being ready for something new. But, don’t expect your millennials to ask, what’s next? Instead, your millennial stylists will constantly be on the lookout for what to do next to advance their careers. Engage with them and have open conversation about their dreams and aspirations and work with them to achieve them. Yes, they will eventually move on, but you will have a loyal and hardworking employee until then.
